Arrr, time to take a break. I think I have all the mods ready to ship that were ordered, just need to print out labels.

Most of the ones today were mods that had been waiting to be finished for a while. There was also a Destroyer that I had made that had a wood defect, so I carefully hand rounded the edges and it looked pretty sweet, but the door was kind of thin and I decided not to sell it. Well, it's sat for a while now and the door has not warped (a good sign) so I was thinking of finishing it for someone.

If it wasn't a tank mod I would have thought about keeping it for myself. I put a coat of high gloss carnuba wax on it today, almost tempts me to buy a tank for it.

Ok, enough porn fer today, arrrr

I'm sending you a Lavatank next week Cappy! :)

Greetings all, i know that does not give a damn about anyone but i wanted to say what i find "special" in mod box of captain.
i state that smoking cessation, tobacco rolled, several years ago i tried the first chinese ecig (similar in shape to those of cigarettes, battery does not exist, no steam) are clearly not able to close the roll.
quite recently i wanted to try again and i discovered the remarkable evolution of big batteries, so i bought a lavatube (cheap and powerful) the only mod i owned up to the purchase the boxes mark 7 and 9 from captain.

i find these amazing boxes not only from the aesthetic point of view (good wood, carefully chosen and worked with taste and refinement), but also practical, vaping is incredibly gratifying, great power and pleasure in the soft clik button, no effort to draw the large quantity of steam that it produces.
relaxes me a lot, especially when i'm are in front of the monitor to trade (forex cfd small lots), a 2°dary activity that - before - brought me to smoke so many cigarettes.

Ahoy! Sunday already... weekend is going fast.

Arrr, sending me booty? That be a right fine thing ye be doing, don't know what to say 'cept, thank ye!!

I like that high shine carnuba wax look, i think it would look great on my maccassar ebony dreadnought, is it some particular brand ? So far i have been very happy with Howards feed-and-wax, but i still think that mac-ebony would look a lot better in high gloss finish.

Well, it's not my usual procedure, but I used a stick of hard carnuba wax and a loose cotton buffing wheel to slowly apply it. It takes 5 times longer than the usual light wax I put on them as carnuba is about the hardest wax I can think of. Applied to the buffing wheel it heats up enough to melt and is then heat buffed onto the wood until the coat is even and glossy.

It's extremely hard wax but still just wax and will wear away after some use leaving dull spots. I think Howards is the only way an owner can keep it shiny without owning a buffing tool.

Speaking of Booty -
The Admiralty saw fit to assign me a new ship, a Cruiser. She is a fine craft, strong & light; a Mahogany hull with Zebra wood trim. Upon boarding, I immediately sailed to the armory for the new long range cannons, the panny 3100 battery & used the 510 LR sail plan. The crew & I then sailed out the Flue-Cured canal onto the RY4 Ocean. Both pirates & HMS fled at our approach, fearing our battery & maneuverability (the clouds from test firing were impressive, no doubt). We then sailed into Key Lime Bay & anchored for some R&R.
I hope some day soon, the Admiralty will see fit to assign me a Dreadnought.
Thanks Capn! Looking forward to some serious sailing with your fine ship!

Arrr, we be right pleased to hear this. To be sure the Cruiser is a tried and true vessel that was sailing long before these new fancy ships came to be and is the true back-bone of any fleet. Even I, Grand-Admiral of the Upper North-Eastern part of the lower South-Western corner of the Southern Fleet keep one on hand, just in case!

one in the picture would be the abomination they called "italy box"

horror.jpg

i hate the grip like knob of bicycle, in the name of ergonomics people do horrible things,

the finishes also are so raw that a lumberjack would be more refined Il_taglialegna_rid.jpg

i think "box mod" should have a box shaped, otherwise should be called "knob box"

i enjoy when i keep in hand RS box

Ahoy and good afternoon all. Tako, what is the name of the mod in the picture? I don't recognize it.

I am taking off in a few minutes, time to pick up Joanne. After a week and a half in the VA hospital she is finally feeling greatly improved. It's pretty technical but basically they found a fistula in her colon and have been trying to heal it without surgery.
