GOD, I so HATE that now that I finally figured out why dripping is important and necessary, I only just now FOUND this, 4 months after the sale you're talking about ended, and at the moment they're out of stock!

Hang in there! DigitalCiggz will almost certainly be re-stocked soon. In the meantime, I'd be happy to help tide you over. PM me and we'll see what we can do.

sweet thread! I read the Ocelot's dripping guide about a month ago, and today I'm enjoying some GeJ Patriot on a joye 306. Probably needs to steep a little longer though - just taste mostly a complex sweetness and it's only about 2.5 weeks old. The cheap vision 510's I have don't seem to be all that great compared to the 306's. I was thinking of trying ikenvapes's 510's or 901's, but how do they compare to the joye 510s?

In my personal experience, the only 510 atomizer that was appreciably better than the other 510s was an HH357. At $20 bucks a pop versus only $2 for the joyetech 510s from DigitalCiggs, the difference wasn't sufficiently great to justify the price being ten times higher.

All the 306s I've used---and I've had about 50 of them from many different sources---give slightly better flavor than standard 510s, but the 306s tend to leak, at least mine have. The IKV i06s have been far and away the best 306s, giving almost the same superb flavor and performance of HH357s. Plus, the unbreakable tubes I saved from dead Ultimate CE2s fit the barrels of IKV i06s perfectly. The tubes can be cut easily to longer or shorter lengths (for a warmer or cooler vape) and enable the use of standard 510 drip tips.

Your mileage may vary, of course.

I beg to differ..........HH357 (long barrels) are far superior to Joyetech 510 atomizer...Not only is the vapor production much better but the taste cant be beat.......... I know there is big price difference....But really for $25 (custom HH's) that last me 6-8 weeks...I mean what the heck that's not that much money to pay for a better vape experiance...I am an exclusive direct dripper of 4 + years and have been using HH's for almost 2 years now....They ROCK!

I suppose that some of us are just frugal.

Thanks fellas - I was really wondering about those IKV i06's, and the HH .357's. My taste buds are still not great after smoking for 20 years and only quitting less than two months ago - I probably wouldn't even notice the difference. I've just enjoyed the joye 306's, and while they've never flooded on me, the dry hits are brutal when they happen compared to the 510's haha.

In terms of best 510's under $10 - you guys really like the joyetech ones the best huh? Are the joye 510's bridgeless and due you recommend removing the bridge if they aren't? I think I'd like that better for changing between flavors, and removing the bridge on the visions and off branded ones are a PITA, and I'll destroy about 1/4 doing so.

I can't say because I haven't really tried many 510 atomizers other than the Joyetech ones.
But the fact that I've been vaping with them for four and a half years without feeling the need might say something.

I did spend some time, years ago, with the Joyetech 306 atomizers though...
I opted to stick with the 510s but I recognize that others might feel differently about that.
:)

Hey ya'll, I want to buy some new atomizers. I have about 7 right now that I rotate and use on different batteries, but I've had them all for some time now and I notice the quality of the vape and flavor have started to drop. They are an assortment of Cisco Bridgeless, Vapage Uni and BF, and Empire Mods atty. I've destroyed a few in the past with bad dry burning and cleaning methods. I'm trying to decide between the HH.357 ones or some more Vapage Universal ones, as those have worked pretty good for me in the past, but I've never tried the HH.357 ones because frankly, the price throws me off a little. Maybe if it came in a pack of 2 like the Vapage ones but I dunno... I might be willing to splurge if the price point reflects their quality and how long they will last. I do prefer bridgeless atomizers, as I like being able to see the coils when I am dry burning them. Any advice? I am open to other types of atomizers as well, as long as they are consistent in quality and will give me a superb vape! <3 Dripping!

If you do splurge on the HH, make sure you got some of your ol' some trusties also. It was a big disappointment for me, especially at $25.31 with shipping, but luckily I wasn't stuck without my favs. Hell, I actually like the Aeors (bridgeless) from Avidvaper more than the HH. The Aeros are pretty much the same as the EM attys, but supposedly there's a different air intake. Dunno for sure though.

The Aero bridgeless atty have been out of stock every time I've checked the Avid Vaper site. I want to try the HH.357 atty, but I am very hesitant. I know lots of people love them and rave about them but also others who say it is not worth the price and that it can crap out if you're unlucky. Whereas the Vapage ones are about $17 for 2 of them. Are there any other atomizers worth mentioning?

HH.357s put more juice on the coil than other manufactured atties. That may matter to your perception of what constitutes a good vape but it very well may not. You are the only person who can determine if the HH.357 provides the type vape of you personally prefer before you get to the issue if you think it is worth the money.

I keep an dozen HH.357s in rotation on ten devices. All are going strong including my first HH.357 from eight months ago.

My other atties sit in the drawer because, personally, I so greatly prefer my HH.357s. Combined with the fact that the HH.357s last a long time for me means that their cost is not a prohibitive factor.

However, I would not disagree at all with anyone who may be in love with a different atty because people want different things from a vape to be satisfied. Also, I think the HH.357 was revised at some point before I started using them. Those may have performed differently than the ones I have.

Thanks, I guess I will pick up two of them to try out. Is it worth getting the custom version for the long barrel and PG/VG/mix option? Most of my juices are about 50/50 mix, I assume the non-custom version just uses the mix option? Is there any major benefit of having the long barrel? Gah... I can't believe I'm about to pay $20+ for an atomizer. Better be worth it!

Also, are the Clouds of Vapor "Vision Hybrid" atomizer the same as the Vapage hybrid atomizer or is it something entirely different? I saw it mentioned a few times but I'm not sure if the Vapage type ones are no longer on the site or if they are the same atomizer with a different name. I don't see the dual coil atomizers on here either.

The regular HH.357 is the exact same thing as the custom HH.357 with the PG/VG Blend option according to Jessica at Avid. The long barrel version is available without having to pay extra for a custom HH.357 as well.

I don't know anything about the COV atties but the Vapage slant coils are on their site but only in 2.0 and 2.5 oHms. Vapage has very frequent sales for 30% and more off so sign up for their newsletter.

I've tried both types of Vapage atomizers and found them to both work very well for me. I've ruined a few of the universal ones by attempting to dry burn them when they were still wet with water after cleaning, and while I like the vape on the BF ones, they do tend to leak a lot with the way I am dripping them. I guess since they are made for bottom feeding, the liquid probably goes through easier. I have been wanting to buy more of their atomizers though and I am subscribed to their newsletters, and boy do they send a lot of them! But lately its always been sales on disposables and kits, I haven't seen a store wide or atomizer sale in forever. I mean, are the HH.357 vastly superior to the Vapage atomizers?

Put the BF atty on a 510>510 adapter, then use en Empire drip shield to avoid messy leaking. The drip shield also tightens the draw a bit on these somewhat airy atties. I love the taste and performance of these atties.

Moin,

today I killed my first Boge 510 with a Dremel, to build a Cisco 306 drip tip adapter:

Its funny that the Cisco 306 protection sleeve creates a perfect seal to use a normal carto tube as a drip tip adapter.
Now I have best of both worlds: Cisco 306 as the drip atty that is most easy to clean, and normal 510 drip tips.
The 2nd Cisco 306 is already waiting for a Boge 510 to grow old and useless.

Dripping Attys are not dead - they just smell funny ;-)

ciao,Michael
