That has been my approach too. I have the authentic and enjoy what it produces. I bought the clones hoping for similar quality and to make them into part of my work beater set ups.

Here are my pics, flavor is great! Everything @BlackCRX reported is true, the drip tip is short but doesn't bother me. The top cap is sharp, just be careful.
Easy to build, decent quality, airflow from 1/4 to 1/2 open whistles, 3/4 to fully open no whistle & I like the draw on either setting. I would highly recommend everyone to get 1, 2 or 3 for the money, it can't be beat! Think I'm going to order the Gold one 3f has it back in stock & will ship in 24 hours.
I haven't had any problem using my TFV8/12 drip tips in any of my 810 tanksYou can use any 810 drip tip. They are called Goon, Kennedy etc.. because ppl can better relate
The TFV8 is actually a different drip tip since it has an o-ring. The outer diameter is the same but with an o-ring, so most likely you can not use them on the Reload/Goon/Kennedy.

I can not find any differences comparing your pics to the authentic. The only thing (major con incoming ): The logo is etched a tenth of a milimeter higher on the chimney on the authentic haha.

Yes, that whistle is annoying for me. I currently have it approx 1/8 AFC open just to avoid the whistling.
Another thing that impresses me is how easy it is to open the top cap. Because there is no "lower base" of the glass tank I really tightened it to the base. I was expecting the top cap to be a pain to open again (like on the EXO RTA) but to my surprise, the top cap just spun off so easily, but in a good way
