I just watched a preview of a video currently in production (I'll let you know when it gets posted to youtube). Brand new freshly charged VTC5 & an RM3 dual coil at .55 ohms.
The REO Grand SL with the old connector (no adjustable SS connector in that one, but it does have the sub ohm contacts) It dropped to 3.73v
The REO Grand Clone dropped to 3.32v.
Other interesting notes in the video: All four corners of the door groove are sharp. One drew blood from the user. The button is a polymer plastic, not delrin so it will melt if run too hot. The spring is not a 3 piece hot spring. The top contact material appears to be brass. It is very thin and the user described it as "flimsy" and also remarked that the throw was much longer than the REO.
The fellow making the video indicated he is going to strip the paint to verify the body material - and has yet to pull the spring and test the springs resistance - and is planning to pull the top contact and test its resistance.
