And this is why the REO is what it is. Its not just the mod its the Man behind the mod.

I am honored to call him my friend.

NO need to run off I do agree this wasn't the place to start a post like you did . I understand money is tight been there many times in my life . Feel free to pm or email me I am sure I can find something for you that wont break the bank .

Indeed! Unfortunately that went to stuff like rent and a new transmission lol.

we never went with out our cigs and used to say when they hit enter amount here...we were going to quit!put a buck a day in a
water jug or your change when ever you have it and you'd be surprised how fast it adds up.but if its stuck in your head that you aint spendin whatever on a mod then that's your choice but I cheated myself by not getting the Woodville I now have.a dear friend I only met here on ecf a short 3months ago helped me to save enuff to pay for it.so if thiers a will thiers a way.if I ticked you off that's not my intent just tryin to put scenarios out there for you or anyone reading this is all.i surly don't have the coin to get a DIFFERENT KIND OF MOD ORTHER THAN A REO but im putting my change in a h2o bottle and in the 15 er 18 months when I get the call that its done I will have the money for it and maybe some extras.just my 2cents worth...Rick

Reo's hold their value if they are properly maintained and not abused. The few parts that can wear out or break are easy and inexpensive to have repaired. Most of those parts are available on the site or can be gotten by an email to Rob. In most cases the postage for a round trip to the "spa" is equal to or more expensive than the cost of the repairs.

Things that loose value over time do so because using them wears them out, the electronics become obsolete or fail.

Simply put a used Reo that has been looked after is no different than a new one.

I know they hold there value, thats pretty clear by used selling for new prices. But unless shipping is $30 I dont see why someone would grab a used mod instead of a brand new one. Unless its a rare color that is no longer made or someone wants a early model low serial number.

There are no serial numbers. Simply put if you can get one 20 bux off retail price it's worth it. It's just that good and without owning one you really wouldn't understand. It's not a cheapo mod that needs replaced once or twice a year. These are made to pass on to someone else in your will.

I had this conversation with my brother, which owns a B&M. I gathered up the guts to lend him one of my Reo's for about a week. Filled it with his fave juice, re-coiled and let him hold it... Needless to say, about a week after I took it back, he was on the website buying one.

You just have to use that first one to understand... There really is nothing like it.

Im really super sorry. I'm still a n00b to these forums and I didn't actually realize this was the main suppliers forum. I had the impression it was a discussion so I was in the wrong right away. Thank you for all the feedback.. and the lessons ;P I'm going to be trying to pick up some more hours at work soon so I can get my hands on the real thing. I just have impassivity problems and shiny-itis. I suppose I can be patient lol. It is a virtue after all.

I see no reason why anyone here would hate you, particularly since Rob has so graciously invited you to PM him and see what he might be able to work out with you!

Welcome to the REO forum, stick around, ask questions, and learn why we love these mods so much that many of us have multiples!

My friend, we have no quarrels with you. I believe you have learned a great lesson here from all these wonderful Reonaughts. I hope you can save up to get your first Reo, then you will truly understand the massive feedback you received from your original post. We will all be happy to welcome you to our neighborhood as soon as you get it, whether a cared-for second hand, a blemished mod, or a new one. It doesn't matter, because you will be an enlightened one :D

Nightowl.... as you can tell by now, all of us here are very protective of the Reo mods and the brilliant maker of them.

Excuse any of us please who seemed a bit harsh ( for once I wasn't one of them) The majority of us have been stumbling down the road of all kinds of vaping devices, spent hundreds upon hundreds of dollars on them, only to finally discover the Reo mod.

As far as I know, no one has ever gotten rid of their Reo in favor of a different device. We don't sing Rob's praises just to be singing, we're dead serious about the quality of the mod and the quality of the man who makes them...never mind his dedication to his Reonaughts and his high standards of anything he puts up on his site.

I truly hope that you will find a way to acquire your very own Reo!
