New door arrived!

Very nice. I remember when the first metal REOs came out and that color combo was nicknamed the "Green Hornet". :)

I like the drip tip, too! Goes very nice with it. I have some drip tips on order, but not anything expensive yet - I just broke the last one I had when I dropped my Reo in the parking lot last weekend. I forgot I had it in my hand when I went to help my daughter with stuff she was having problems holding.

I'm assuming this is one of the originals. I traded a hybrid for it, and it has certainly been around the block a few times! it's a 14500 mini.

The green hornet. I like it. now I need names for the others. I call my white/black grand the storm trooper.

say WHAAAT! Where did you get that trippy door?!!

Isn't that awesome???!!! Rob is the nicest man I know!!! I ordered the olive drab green Grand and when it got here, that's the door it was wearing. Isn't it GRAND? He's been playing with his engraver, I think. He said it was a "test door" that he thought I'd like. He's RIGHT about that!!!!

Here's another picture of it.....with a matching drip tip. I LOVE it!!! View attachment 250547

That's absolutely gorgeous JC! I've been circling around the store site looking for another grand. I can't tell you how many times I've loaded a cart up with a grand a couple of reomizers and a lot of bits and bobs and then dumped it out. There has just been this little niggling feeling in my lizard brain telling me he's going to start doing some different colors or just that something different is cooking in Maine feeling. Guess your new lovely proves it and guess I'll keep circling. :p

That is one badass looking mod boss lady. I like it :). That is a true collectors item if I've ever seen one :). Rock on Jan :)

I know, Russ! I'm as proud of this as you are of your Woodvil! It means just as much to me. I love the door, but I love the fact that he gave it to me, too.

Yeah, Rob doesn't let much moss grow before he's cooking up something new. I know he's going to be working on Woodvils when he gets a chance....he keeps saying he wants to, anyway. And he did get some new machine that he can use for engraving....so if he ever gets a breather I think he'll come up with some new doors. He's mentioned in another thread that he was going to, or wanted to, offer up some doors.

I just retired last week, and I only had one Grand, so I thought I owed it to myself to buy myself a second Grand. (Like I needed another REO!!!....but then, when has "need" ever been the governing factor in REO-buying.) So....this is my Retirement gift to myself.....and Rob has made it so special now! It was such a nice surprise. I think he knows that "decorated doors" are my thing after all the stickers I've gone through on my all-white VV Grand. :)
