Where are you guys getting the cool button covers? The brass never appealed to me until seeing the black one. Nice!

If I'm right in what you meant, those are the delrin button covers that Robert sells here.

Its destiny that certain REOs belong with specific people. Whether its just one or 30. I want to thank Ed for taking good care of the Nebula and selling it back . We talked and are both good with it. Besides the cash I sent a WoodChuck and between the both he can get the 2.1 he wants.

Sure, it no longer looks all bright and shiny like my avatar due to my stupid attempt to improve on the sweet finish Rob had already applied which btw a lesson I have learned all too well and should be learned by others modding their REOs with no experience/skills. Again that’s not a jab to the few that may know what their doing and take FULL responsibility for their actions. At that time I couldn’t even look at it without being disgusted with myself for how I destroyed its beauty which is why I sold it in the first place that’s never been a secret.

For the last few months I was in a REO funk hardly posting or reading other’s post and even the REOs I bought 2nd hand didn’t bring any joy or back the spark so I sold them to good homes @ cost. Having this one back home Im getting that old feeling again. I realize now the REOs that mean the most to me are the one’s I had some part in their creation. So with my REOville battery recharged with in me I can patiently wait for my Nebula 2.0. 

PS:
Now I don’t have to feel like a hypocrite/poser for my signature and avatar anymore

As soon as I get fresh batts for my camera I’ll take a pic next the Tesla but I did find a old pic of it after the disaster. (oviously the one on the left)

Still a beautiful mod, not as good as the early days. But we all get older and life changes us. That's what makes it interesting. I'm happy that you are reunited with your pride and joy.

SWEET!!
However do you choose which one to use.....a problem we all wouldn't mind having. ;)

Yeah, I know. What a problem.:D Mini 2.0, with Peace Sign Stickers, and RM2 is my main workhorse. Mini 1.0, with Hornet, is one of my other workhorses, but I'm going to retire it to "special use" as it was very first run of Silver Anodized Mini 1.0 and has the rectangular milling marks inside, and horizontal milling "valleys" on outside sides. It's even more collectible, now that Robert is NOT doing the 14500 Mini 1.0 any more. For a "workhorse" it is remarkably pristine. Of course being silver anodized hides virtually all marks, dings, scratches and it doesn't have any major gouges. Mini on far right, front, is DH's workhorse but I'm claiming it as my main 1.0 workhorse. Black and red doored Minis are pristine and will be kept that way; dress up. Clear Coat Mini 2.1, gift from ModFather, is used a lot but not a "workhorse." Polished are "Black Tie" for when DH and I go out and want matching REOs. (We don't do as many Black Tie events any more and DH's Tux went to Goodwill a few months ago.) Tumbled's have never been used. They are pristine. They are pretty early; from way back when Robert started issuing the Tumbleds. (Actually Polished Mini 1.0 was my first Tumbled.) Robert was going to attempt removing magnets and pressed in fittings, to clear coat them, but it was too risky removing without marring the finish. So they are awaiting my putting clear Gadget Skinz on before using. (They have been waiting for their Skinzs for a couple of years.) Anodized Grand and VVG get used a lot, loaded with some variations on our Butterscotch juice bases or no flavor VG, but they aren't true workhorses. VVG has taken a few swims into less than "ideal" waters and comes out unscathed as long as I clean it properly. Black Door Mini 2.0, mentioned earlier, was rehomed from Mz. D, Delilah, and was beautifully pristine. I plan to keep it that way. Red door Mini 1.0 was rehomed and was used in now-not-made-any more leather case with neck lanyard. It is pristine except for a very hard to see tiny scuff on door. It is early made.

Anybody confused??!!!!??? Welcome to Feisty's world.
