Wow! My Woodvil is hoping to get traded to a better owner.

I just take it from work. I rub with the petroleum gauze for a few mins, then I massage it into the wood wearing nitrile gloves, then I buff using extra-fine weave gauze pads. My goal is to get it as close to glass as possible. The corners and back are almost there... The door I am not buffing as much. I don't want to lose the nice caramel and chocolate grain color/pattern there.

Erica (REO Grand) all alone at the moment but she is getting a sister shortly... a Woodvil 18490 is on it's way!

Mine looks like glass from the vaseline...but I cheated and used 1000 grit sandpaper on them first:)

Yeah. I don't have any sandpaper... Just a whole lot of elbow grease.

I dropped it in the rocks again today... A few more battle scars.

Yeah. I've already converted a couple of my battle buddies from analogs. One has the red/purple reo i got for him, the other uses my LP grand.

I'd give him the general to keep, but i'd rather he buy his own.

Cant wait to get my purple one! I think I have become more addicted to reos than the juice in them.

I decided to open up the draw on my woody today just for ghits and siggles. The middle hole is opened to 14ga and the side holes were drilled using a 22.5ga needle. Well... Several 22.5ga needles. Yeah, it took a long time and my fingers went numb twisting the needle... That is until I slipped and impaled myself for the 3rd, 4th, and 5th times.

Nonetheless, still quite warm and tasty and looks pretty sharp too.... Sharp... Needle... NOOOOOO!

Honestly, I didn’t plan to buy a woodie. I was going to wait until March/April for my 6 month vaperversary and birthday respectively to buy my first REO, a mini copper vein, or blue, or red or....

Of course I followed the woodie thread, they were so beautiful. I visited Rob’s site about 45 min after the sale started. Much to my surprise, a cocobolo 490 that I really liked was still available. What? How could that be? Lucky me, I took that as a sign and ordered it! Woodie #1 arrives, I build my 1st coil and I’m very happy.

Fast forward a couple of weeks. Its 7pm, I’m reading the REO forum and find out that earlier in the day Rob had released a few more. Of course, I had to look… What? There’s a sweet mini ebony/birds eye still left! Lucky me! Score woodie #2.

I don’t cruise the classies regularly. I happened to look and there was a gorgeous mini wenge/cross cut maple that had been posted for sale at 6pm. It was nearly 10pm and it was still available! What?? It was one of the ones that I’d liked from the sale! Lucky me! I took that as a sign and woodie #3 just arrived! Thank you rabernet!

They’re topped with RM2s and often Rob's drip tips (my stock of drip tips don't do them justice). Unfortunately, dressy drip tips will have to wait until my check book recovers. I may try brushing a RM2 to get the brass look. Sorry for the lousy pic, it's overcast so they don't show at their best. Can I haz badge?

You sure can haz a badge. You are very much an official Reonaut. If you wear this badge while vaping it will keep termites away from all the gorgeous wood. Thanks for posting. Garbage pick up is Wednesday in Reoville. Ellsbury will make a nice catch on Big Papi tonight too.

This one too! Minus the spring i think lol

Just got it in

Yeah that rocks. Keep an eye out for them springs and get one as soon as you can. It was the main culprit in the previous contacts inefficiency :)

That grand looks sweet RayRay bro. Congrats. :)

Thanks for the badge & the laugh. It's nice to know I can go forth and vape safe from termites!

One cousin grew up in Rye, NY and is a die hard yankees fan. The poor boy now lives in Providence, RI. :D There's A LOT of friendly trash talk, especially when the teams play each other. Fortunately, it's Wed. and garbage is waiting at the curb ;) Vape on!
