Lacewood VV Woodvil I picked up for my brothers birthday. It's time to convert him to a REOnaught! I'll be setting it up with a spare RM2 I have.

Hey Karen, I have a question for your expertise in all things REO - I recently acquired an OG Mini, and the spring screw on it isn't a phillips like every other REO I've ever seen - it's a teeny tiny hex. Does this help identify its date of manufacture, and more importantly, can it be replaced with a phillips-head screw?

The screw was changed to a phillips in later runs. I don't know what OG means!

The phillips is:
Phillips flat head, Stainless steel 18-8, #2-56 x 3/16"

I thought that you could replace it. Use a 0.50 hex wrench.
