Just a little real-world usage observation I've made with regard to various finishes... I've found the hammertone to be a much better finish than the black anodized to have in your hand when your hand gets a little hot and sweaty. Not having a totally smooth texture prevents the Reo from getting as slippery or slimy. I'd imagine this applies just as much (or more) to the wrinkle finishes too.

Soooooooooooooo...................... Do any of these guys look familiar to anyone(s)?
Ebonys; 18490, Mini, 18490
Brass and Chrome RM2s. The catchcups are patina-ed, as I like them. I did take a little patina off to get closer to the new brass RM2s that will darken and patina a bit over time. (Bright light makes Chrome darker and Brass lighter than in real "normal" lighting.) Ebony/Quilted Maple 1.3 ohm and hitting like a freight train but not dimishing sweet, strong Butterscotch too much. 5 wraps, 30ga Kanthal, 2mm doubled silica @ 3.7 volt.

BTW.... afraid to put them on railings for fear of wind blowing them into jungle way down there where my friendly Copperheads roam. Didn't want to have to put on snake gear.

Those are real beauties! I had an ebony/quilted mini as well that I got from Honkey Kong last year. Unfortunately it got stolen at work. I was lucky enough to get a nice Utile/Ebony mini from Jan to fill the void. Woodvils are SO hard to come by!

What a major bummer to have a cherished Woodvil stolen. So sorry.

I was fortunate to get my greedy hands on quite a few Woodvils on sale nights, a few SOs when Robert was in process of making batches and a few fast snags on classies, sales and/or trades, when I had more time to patrol the classies. And a few special buys or trades with REOnauts directly. Thanks folks. I've only had one Ebony purchased from a REOnaut at a time s/he reluctantly let go of it due to ecconomic difficulty; beautiful very black Grand with stunning Quilted Maple door. When his/her circumstance improved Ebony went back to its rightful "parent." So these three beautiful Ebonys come recently from trades with two REOnauts. Win, win for us all and thank you, you two, so very much. I've only let a few leave here but only in trades for other Woodvils with outstanding REOnauts. Although I place sentimental value on few things the Wood REOs lead the group for prized possessions. If I had to sell possessions Wood REOs would be last to go.

Gilikins, ask Tesla if she spotted my BWB juice order while in Sac. I was suppose to have it Monday and it's still not here - Last tracking shows it was leave White Plains, NY sorting center 6/1.

I always thought Sac sucked and I guess it sucks in packages too. :(
