i guess i'm the exact opposite. i prefer the busier threads.

90% of what i've ever posted has been humorous/playful takes on other folk's posts. so when a thread dies, i kinda die along with it.

I like them active, but I just shy away after a while when I just can't keep up with it. And I know you do have a great sense of humor!

Well I sent my Woodvil to Rob a little while ago. PRIORITY...lol. I have practically been chain-vaping since my Woodvil broke down on me. Noting compares to that Woodvil. It is the one with the plunger too. So you know it is different, besides just the wood. I had a minor panic attack when it broke. I am not going to be happy until it is safe back home, with me!!

I like slower threads, so I can keep up. It there are pages and pages to keep up with, it seems more like work, and less like fun.

What a drag, having your Woodvil break! I hope you get it back quick!

I just don't have a whole lot of time for really busy threads, like the porches. I look in from time to time just to see what's being discussed, but then I have to move on as i have things to do. .

The "porches" are hard to keep up with, especially with a "front" and a "back"
And, when a thread doesn't move, that's no fun either.
We need a happy medium

I like ones that are sorta medium. I don't have a ton of other stuff to do.....but even for me 10-12 pages a day can get a bit much! But a few pages a day is great. Specially now that we're all on 20 posts per page. I used to always have mine set to 40 ppp.
