I resorted to using strips of packing tape before we bought our new sofa and love seat. The hair would weave itself into the fabric on our old set. When we bought our new set we looked for material that the hair couldn't get into. Luckily we have just one room with carpeting, I can't imagine a whole house with carpeting and this kind of dog hair lol!

We brush our dogs with the FURminator and finish off with the Love glove. The FURminator is expensive but is the best dog brush *on the planet*. I swear by it. It has helped reduce dog hair around the house by at least 50% and that's huge with these chronic shedders.

We got our last cuddle in early this morning with my darling foster girl, Marge. With a bag full of mixed emotions we said a tearful good bye to this little dear who wiggled her way into our hearts. She was transported with Pilots N Paws to her new rescue in Brooklyn, NY. No doubt she will be well loved by her forever family but sadly missed by mine.

I have one of those and they are great but I only use it outside on windy days, up wind. The fur comes out in a cloud and flies!

so true, we only use it outside too. I imagine a bunch the area wildlife have nice nests of GSD hair for bedding.

Yep and make me laugh a lot. They love attention and like to sit by the fence outside and watch my neighbors. They love people Almost 1 year old, i have had them since they were 8 weeks old. They were so small.

They stay nekkid and filthy most of the Summer. (you know I'm in Texas, so that is at least half of the year.)
