$4.02 (Free Shipping) YFTK Replacement Dropper Bottle for SVA 75W Style BF Squonk Box Mod (Silicone + SS) at m.FastTech.com

@Robinowitz, these are the ones I have that I absolutely love. They are not the same as the ones on the Reosmods site. These are the ones @Debadoo is using. They don’t require any seating. They are even softer than those you have.
Thank you so much! Nope, not gonna argue with Jan @olefolks :) I cherish all the wisdom I can borrow. And a funny thing happened. My last standard bottle is no longer leaking since I took it out and fiddled about with the new ones. Cool! It buys me a bit of time to try out some new soft ones. Just for kicks I cut the end that goes in the bottle just a tad as it might have been a bit too long? Or maybe the tube was down a smidge on the 510? Funny how it was fine for years but then got different.....nonetheless, I’m grateful!
Good day Reoville! Have I mentioned today that I am soooooo grateful to be part of Reoville? :hubba:

Thanks for the link JC Okie
I added it to my notes, never seen those before(Silicone/SS cap with SS Collar)
They are really good, @tobarger. I think the bottle makers of the world finally figured out what we needed.... those are perfect for us.

I even tried another bottle just in case I got a bad one (Thanks @Debadoo for your comment on that from a now closed thread on soft bottles).
hmmmmmmm the only other thing I could suggest is that with the ones you're using, when I first started using them, I squeezed the tube with small pliers, cuz I didn't have the hand strength to close the tube off completely at first. But since you've got your other one not leaking now, ya might not wanna mess with it.

and I totally love the ones Jan linked to, but be warned, you look at em and think squonk, and they do it. I take the whole thing out to fill em, tube and all, but I have to pinch off the tube just to screw the top back on, cuz holding the bottle will make it squonk.

With all due respect, huh?
 ha. He means that these bottles are so soft that just barely touching them is all that’s needed to squonk them. They really are that soft. They’re soft, soft silicone and sooooo easy to squonk it’s unreal. Takes a little getting used to, but it’s worth it.

Alrighty! Am awaiting the arrival on the extra soft bottles. Is any prep needed before filling for the first time? (Other than the usual rinse for anything new?).
Nope. Well, make sure the hose is clipped in an inverted “V” just like we do with any bottle. You’re gonna love these. The only tip I have is to NOT screw the cap on very tightly. When you go to unscrew it, you won’t have much to grip onto. It seals very well and easily. No need to crank it down. You’ll see.... :)

I too haven’t had any difficulty with the standard bottles either. But since I ran out of the stock ones and for some reason I couldn’t get the older version of the soft Reo Italian bottles to seat (even after standing on my head and getting sound suggestions), I’m giving these a try. The trick will be to change my habits. I still have the stock bottle in my 18490 Woodville that I use when I’m home. I’m thinking that if I like these softies in my bigger Reos that I best search for some smaller ones for it. But first things first.....

Happy day my Ford and Chevy Friends.

Eric has a new delrin top cap for the Reo Italian soft bottles. Been using them for almost a year no leaks no issues. Should try them out

Breathing on the bottle will squonk it!!
lol Jup!

Jup.....that's why I take the tube and bottle out to fill it. I pinch the tube when I screw the cap on or off. Pinch with thumb and pointer finger, and use my pinkie and ring finger against my hand to screw it on or off.

Doah. All this talk of super-soft bottles made me go and order some.

Never really had a problem squonking the OG bottles and the Italian softies have been nice, but something inside of me says I've just gotta try them.
lol hope you love em. and Jup FT does much better with their speed these days.

I love the Reo soft bottles. My friend uses those really soft bottles and they just flood the atomizer. They’re so soft they hardly suck the juice back into the bottle. The Reo soft is perfect balance of soft and firmness in my opinion.
hmmm I did he cut the inverted V in the bottom of the tube, or at least at an angle? Honestly, I just use the angle that it comes with since that's quite sharp. But I wonder if there is another issue, cuz mine suck the juice down quite well. I even hear it each time I squonk. But like olefolks said.......plenty out there for everyone's preferences.

I’m thinking that if I like these softies in my bigger Reos that I best search for some smaller ones for it.
I haven't searched, but if you find them let me know. I expect a lot of us would be interested in that.

I’m sure he did; it’s simply the case of the softer bottles taking longer to drain back into the bottle because the suction/vacuum effect isn’t as strong. Compare a Reo standard bottle with any soft bottle and you’ll see how the standard bottle sucks the juice back almost instantly. The softer you go the slower your drain back becomes.
