The part of Canada that doesn't get enuf Snow :(
Thanks. Tried that but I have to get it to a point where it's loose enough to wobble a bit before the draw is light enough. It's a minor annoyance but I'll live with it for now. I'll try attys from other local vendors soon. Thanks again.

You can drill out the air holes above the threads 1/16 drill works well. Be careful not to drill too deep it is a very thin wall you need to drill thru.

OK Reo Fam, you want a super Atty for your Grand, remember the old Joye eGo Mega Cylinder Atomizers. Take your Dremel and just carefully cut the flange off making sure you dont cut into the body of the Atty. Then just screw this bad boy on your Grand and vape away, use the O-Ring around the base of it sitting just on top of the catch cup and you have a super nice Auto feed system. You can use the LR Mega's or the Reg ohm ones. I'm using a reg ohm one with a 5v batt and its a super duper Vape. This should go in the tip's & Trick thread but I just want everyone to see it here first, these are super ! ;-)

Is there a video on how to replace you mini reo juice tube?

I don't think so...
try using your e-juice as a lubricant, then holding the tube between your thumb & forefinger, try screwing it on. It takes a little bit of patience. There is no shame in setting it all down on the desk and walking away for a few minutes to take a breath and settle your mind. :)

So I read a little about the issue I'm about to tell you all about a little in this thread, but never really got a reason why this happens, only that it needs sent back to Rob. Ok, already contacted Rob and here is my email, thought I'd share just in case anyone has some thoughts for me, or condolences, lol:
"Hi Rob,
I'm not to well versed in electronics, nor do I want to take apart my precious Reo mini, aka "Sweet Pea", without explicit instructions. Anyway, the button on my mini has appeared to have collapsed. :,(
It seems as though it has dropped so low that it is hitting the battery and won't shut off until I pull it up and switch it to the off position. Any advice or help would be appreciated! Not sure if it matters in your diagnose, but I use IMR 14500 3.7V 600mAh batteries, and Cisco 501 LR 1.5 atomizers."

So a few questions for you guys: What the hell happened?, Did I do it?, Is it something Rob always has to fix if it happens again, or can I do it with instruction? Should I throw away the atty and the battery that were in there at the time of said problem?

Thanks everyone in advance for any help/advice you can offer! Excuse me while I go crawl into the fetal position, cry and vape on a KR808 with a cartomizer.....waaaaaaaaaaa!! I guess I better get used to them because I am leaving for Mexico in a month and was told I probably shouldn't bring me Reo.

EDIT: I think the firing pin had somehow collapsed. I should have elaborated a bit more in saying I was driving to work and had my Reo in my lap, all of a sudden my lap was burning up, as was my mod! I heard the atty sizzling, but I was not pushing the button. I immediately removed the battery, and freaked out for 20 more minutes til I could check it out when I got to work. Just for the record, the button is fine, no melting that I can see. And the bottom spring is fine too.

My first Mini REO had the same problem, I don't know what happened but I sent it to Rob and he had it back to me in a week (including mail time) it was a very quick fix for him. He also changed the little screw for the spring to a phillips head rather than the allen wrench one it had originally. If yours did like mine did, you don't need to replace the battery or your atty, they are fine. Send it to Rob, he will have you fixed up in no time.

Thanks a lot! Makes me feel better knowing I'm not alone! I think I will ask him to give it a little maintenance while he has it. Change the screw, like you mentioned, new tubing if needed. Plus I think I need to get a repair kit to have on hand if ever needed. Do you know if the firing pin can be replaced by us, or is that a Rob thing? Honestly, I'm not sure I'd be comfortable doing that anyway, unless it was an easy fix.

I took the plastic piece on the inside off to see if there was a way for me to fix it, but after taking a look, felt like it was a better idea to let Rob do it, so it would be done correctly, so not sure about that. The spring is easy to fix (I have done that on another of my REOs), and the tube, from what I have read here on the forum is an easy if fiddly fix. Being completely mechanical is one of the beautiful things about the REO, so easy to maintain. Sorry you will be without your REO for a short time, but rest assured Rob will get it back to you in a flash.

Sweet Pea definitely needs a friend! I have 4 minis, not because they aren't reliable, but because I love the colors and like having several flavors ready, and if I have to send one in (which has only happened the once) I won't be without my REO. I have sold or given away all my other PVs because the REO is just that good. I am going to Phoenix later this year and taking all my Mini's to have my Son and Fantasy D-I-L try. If I end up leaving a couple of them there, I'll replace them.

Oh InhaleGal, I'm so sorry {{{{{hugs}}}}}

You had a short (probably a bad atomizer) and the spring collapsed like it is supposed to to break battery contact, but not before the battery melted the button. Make sure to send Rob the atomizer that caused it.

Is there two springs? Cause the one on the bottom of the mod is intact. Seems like the firing pin got all wonky. Thanks for the {{{hug}}}, lol, I could really use it!

Nope, just one. It may "look" normal, but it is shorter than it was. That's the main reason you have to push the button down so far.

Yeah, I got my first Mini in January and I couldn't wait to have a spare. The thought of being without one is just horrifying. Fortunately, Rob has an amazingly quick turn-around for repairs.

It also could be a mashed button. More common than one would think. When a button is repeatedly mashed, it can damage the firing pin or battery contact....bending it and in some cases breaking it. Many of us are guilty of mashing the button because we "think" it needs to be because the button isn't clicky and it looks so tall. If you think this might be the case....where you think you have to press hard to get it to work when you get your mod back from Rob....then try holding the mod by your ear and gently press the button until you hear the atty fire. You'll see that it doesn't take much pressure at all. If you do, in fact, have to mash the button, then there is something wrong and Rob needs to be contacted. I hope this made some sense.
