1. You shouldn't need to unless the tube springs a leak (unlikely with the new tubing) or you lose the o-ring.
2. Nope. The bottle cap won't fit on the smaller bottle. You can order bottles pretty cheaply, or get some samples from alien Visions ejuice, which come in REO ready 6ml bottles.
3. I think so. It is an anti-oxidant. Some people don't use it, but they are diligent about cleaning the firing pin and battery nipples with alcohol.
4. There are lots of threads on this, so feel free to read the forum. People are all over the place, although the preferred ohm rating (with 3.7v batteries) is generally between 1.5 and 2.0.

And WELCOME!! :)

Reo Color Choice

I'm finding the anondized silver to show the least dings and probably the best for harsh environment use. The silver coat is almost exactly the same color as the bare, unpolished aluminum so no color difference to bring attention to scratches, dings, and gouges.

This info is good to keep in mind when choosing Reo color.

While we have joked about putting our mods in the dishwasher because they're just that tough...Never use detergent!

Main thing about dishwashers and the REOs is that DW detergents are hard on the anodized finish and can and will turn the colors, in addition to etching. Also, deposits can form on the firing mechanism inside the firing pin box. It's, also, never a good ideal to put anything aluminum in dishwasher unless you are sure all detergent is flushed from the system. This comes from gathered knowledge and first hand experience which did prevent me from testing a REO in dishwasher.

We have some almost antique aluminum cookware inherited from DH's mother/grand mother; early 20th Century. And most of our cookware is hard anodized Calphalon. Both mentioned need special care. They only go into the dishwasher for a quick rinse, sans detergent, on rare occasions.

When DD married, about 10 years ago, she and SIL registered heavy Stainless Steel cookware. He's a chef. (He does use other metals for special types of cooking but main cookware is SS.) Since DH picked up a special SS frying pan, a few years ago, I certainly appreciate the ease of care of good SS.

SS REO would be the ultimate workhorse.

So I shorted my mod using an HH .357 1.5 atty :(. Good news is all it needs is a new spring. I've pulled it up in the meantime so it could still work but should I be worried about another short? Also where can I find instructions on replacing the spring?

You sure it was the atty?

If you aren't clear on how to replace the spring after a casual inspection of your Reo, you should send it to Rob for repair and a check up. I don't say that to be a smart a__, I just realize not every one is mechanically inclined.

I've been using my HH .357 on my Grand for a loooooooooooooong time with no issues.

It could be that the atomizer was screwed in too far....that can short any mod with any atomizer, cartomizer & adapter.

However....you should contact Rob via PM or email regardless of why we think it happened. You should give him your email address your order was placed with, tell him when you bought your mod, and what your set up is....atty, juice, and battery. This will help him pinpoint the problem. It could be a bad gasket in the atty connector or something like that. You never know until you contact Rob. :)

Depending on the age of your mod, the screw on the bottom will either by an allen head or phillips head screw. Simply remove the screw, pull the spring out, put the new spring in and screw back together. Of course, while the screw it out, this is a good time to clean the mod under where the spring goes and clean the threading on the screw. If you think it is necessary you might want to put a small dot of noalox on the screw threads before re-assembling.
