Thanks Rob!

Great mods and great customer service!

I have several mods, and configurations, but since I got my Grand, they all are literally collecting dust. This is the only mod I own that doesn't pop atties right and left at 6v. Probably because I keep them wetter with the feeder. My Grand never leaves my side, and the mini is what finally got my wife to really embrace vaping.

I try not to be a fan boy of anything, but I guess I'm at least a closet Reonaut.

Riiiight! In other words, you have a "closet" full of Reos? Pfft! Lucky dude. I suppose next you'll tell us you get to try all the new ones before anybody else, huh? :) :) :)
Actually I do :)

:) Closet .. kitchen cabinets, bed of truck, in the attic .... bet you have them stashed all over the place :)
I really don't my grand is a scrtach & dent polished from the first run and my mini is a polished prototype beat to hell .I do have two jatoba woodvils and one original reo I still use and a pile of old mods I built but I never use them. ... ebony woodvil ...

*drool* *drool* *drool*

I really don't know diddly about various woods, but I'd snag an Ebony Reo just for the sheer looks alone! Having one of those in your hand would be almost like having the Hope Diamond sitting on your coffee table :)

I recently purchased some Howard's Sunwax for my Woodvil's. It contains the same ingredients as the Howard's Feed and Wax that Rob recommends as well as a UV protection. It really makes the finish like glass. I can see my reflection and also read the words on the computer screen as they reflect. Purpleheart wood can turn more brown as it ages because of the exposure to light, so thought I would give this wax a try. I am very pleased with the finish.

Just to follow up, my wife's mini is already on its way back home. :)

Good customer service is one thing, but good non-customer service is going way above and beyond. I bought both my Grand and my wife's Mini used. Rob had never received a penny from me, yet when I explained my problem, he simply said "send it to me and I'll fix it".

Rob, it's good to know that high quality character is standing behind the high quality mods you make and sell. Next one I buy, I'll try my best to buy new from you. I would have bought both of mine directly from you if they weren't so hard to get. Had to have them though, and I'm never around my computer when they go on sale.

Anyway, very happy non/future/current customer here!

Using O-rings on you Reo's !

I happen to stumble upon this trick today just trying to find a way for the juice in the catch cup not to spill out any longer and while doing this also found it makes the Reo's self feed as well as giving you the ability to adjust your draw by how tight or lose you apply your O-Ring over the catch cup, push it down further = tighter draw, loser = lighter draw ! The O-Rings I am using are posted below and all available at Home Depot

Reo Min = Danco #78 = w/510/306 ,, Danco #83 W/801 or Cannon
Reo Grand = Danco # 83 with Cannon/801 ,,,#78 w/510/306
Reo Woodvill = Dnaco # 78 = w/801

OK so using these with the Iken Cannon Atty's : Here is what this does, slip the Danco O-Ring over your Atty down the tube until it sits on the top of the catch cup. The more you push down into the catch cup the tighter the draw and vice verse for a lighter draw. You will find 2 things that now happen while using the Danco O-Rings 1st your Reo will no longer spill any juice out of the catch cup which is a nice plus for when your carrying it around or want to set it down on your cars passenger seat like I often do. 2nd these O-Rings pretty much make your Reo's into a self feed system now with the O-Ring on your Reo it creates a vacuum affect an when you take a pull it will now self feed your Reo, once in a while you may have to squank the bottle but overall I'm finding they now self feed with the O-Ring which is super. This will also work for those who use 801 Attys. It will also work with 510/306 Atty's by using the # 78 O-Ring with 510/306

This really works super anyone using a Reo I suggest you try using these O-Rings over your Attys down onto the catch cup it's an overall win win situation :2cool:

I have had my Reo Mini for about a week now- my right hand is permanently cramped as it won't let go of it !! (lol)

Two questions:
To be certain that I have everything that I need, do I need a spare / backup for the tube that goes into the bottle? (does this typically need replacing)?

Are there any batts with more than a 750 mAh rating that can be used safely in a Reo Mini? (using Dual coil cartos seems to drain batts faster than std resistance ones)

Nope, it would be unusual to need a replacement tube.

No. Actually, you should be using 600 mAh AW IMR's. They provide much more power than the protected Li-ion batteries in the 14500 size.

Now you need a grand to run those dual coils at 6 volts. :)

Super info, thanks. I have several cannons coming, one each ohm of the cannon and one each ohm of the stealth cannon, and one LR 901 cannon. (Actually they are all waiting at the UPS store, along with blk/blk Mini and other stuff from two weeks back.) I have read a lot of people having issues with the cannons self feeding or leaking. This should be the perfect fix for them.

I get occasional self feeding on all my Reos. I do a lot of vaping while reclined in recliner so I usually put a paper towel on my chest to catch any drips. This should fix the issue. I'm going to give it a try with other attys too.

Cool Debb, I actually started doing it a few weeks ago while Beta testing the Cannon Attys and that's when I found it but posted it today. You bring up a good point though that I wanted to touch on. Folks remember when you push the O-Ring down to the catch cup there is plenty of adjustment on how snug you can make this Oring to the catch cup, the snugger you make it of course the stiffer the draw, I happen to like a bit stiffer of a draw more so than an airy one, the stiffer the Draw the more you will also feed your Atty with these Cannons, it may take a little play till you get it just right but once you do leave it, it will really feed and work nice in that position, you also can still give the bottle a very light squank once in a while to help freshen the flavor, especially if you get air in your line but this O-Ring does work well, also keeps that dam liquid from spilling out because of the back flow on these Cannons but that's how they work they are juice Hogs but I do love em
