Good morning all. Yes, back in not so sunny GA.
Y'all are some great folks. Your kind and inspiring words did much to fill my mind as I tried to relax on the way back. One particular one was "super_X strong". Many a time when I felt like I was gonna need to ask my wife to pull over "cause I'm freaking out" I thought of that. It worked. The Valium helped too. I used 6 - 5mg over a 7 hour trip. I was more anxious because we woke to rain and the radar showed a lot of rain possible for the journey. Turned out the sun shine a good part of the way.
The music was "soothing waters" radio on pandora. That, two big pillows from my bed, my very safe driving wife and my awesome kids did it for me.
Other motivating thoughts:
"I'm gonna so duplicate the burgers we enjoyed from the tiki grille when I get home" (the chef told me a his secrets and wrote the recipient for the killer seasoning).
"I'm gonna break out my killer deep fryer and make Fridays mozzarella sticks"
"The kids and I are going for a golf cart ride"
"I am going to enjoy my wife's awesomeness once the kids get to sleep"
"I'm gonna play Black Ops II with my boys"
Well, I did all of the above last night except black ops and golf cart. The family said I matched the burgers perfectly and my youngest said they were better
Now I need to use this to build on tackling local avoidances - the peaceful little highway that I avoid, for one. There are others. I'll try to post here whenever I do them.
Blue snake, brother, please, you do it too. (Anyone else too). Let's use this as a place to document our little victories along the way in facing our fears and managing our GAD while we enjoy killer vapes And don't forget that a little Valium works wonders to take the edge off and give the courage it takes.
Blue, perhaps we can do little steps "together" we can call each other, get in our cars and take little drives while supporting each other. I'm yours brother if I can assist.
Thank you REOvil.
