Nothing wrong with dual use while you're trying to ween your body off the cigs.
Nothing at all. It worked for me. Glad to be back to single use, though.

Right now I'm using a 85/15 mixture PG/VG with 5-10% flavoring at a 10mg/ml nic, but I'm going to mix a bit of 60/40 PG/VG to see if more VG helps. Where do you get salt nicotine and is it more expensive than free base?I like cool, big clouds. I get that with low power equipment and VG. I buy salt nicotine in 100% VG base. I use salt nicotine because it's less harsh and more--pleasant--than freebase. My ejuice recipe is nicotine in VG base with enough pure VG to arrive at the proper dilution. I'm currently at 25mg. Then I add .5% of a 60/40 solution of purified water and ethanol. This makes it flow better without adding any harsh PG. I mix, then pour it into a pump bottle.
To make juice, I pump the mixture into a graduated bottle, and add 0.15%-0.5% flavoring. I like to keep it low enough so the flavor covers up the taste of the cotton, but not much more than that. Another thing to remember is that 100% VG is a lot sweeter than juice that has a substantial amount of PG.
vaping this in Nautilus 2, Kabukis, and Subtank Minis at about 10W. 1.2-1.8 ohms. Lots of cool, soothing vapor, which delivers nicotine quite well, indeed.
Thanks for the info. I mixed up one bottle of 70/30 PG/VG (just to make it easier since I only have 10ml pipettes) and I'm noticing some improvement. I'll just keep increasing the VG until I get where I want it to be.I get my nicotine from Liquid Nicotine Wholesalers. Their prices are very good, and they used to charge the same for either freebase or salt nic. Sometime in the past few weeks, they got on the bandwagon and changed their labeling from "Salt Nicotine" to "Nicotine Salts"--two terms that are interchangeable. They also raised the price on the salt nic.
Add more VG until the clouds start to bother you.
That's also the advantage of DIY over ready to vape, besides the cost savings. It's impossible to say what one person's or the others perfect mix would be, but at least we're able to micromanage it if we want. You sure can't do that with cigarettes.
Great job!!!Right around 48 hrs now without a cigarette. It hasn't been to hard, really. I haven't had too many cigarette cravings, and when I do, I blow them away with a nice dose of nicotine.

Great job! Those first couple of weeks were a bear for me. You’re sailing through! It's been a bit over a week now, and I'm still cigarette free. I still get cravings for cigarettes, but when I do, I vape and think about how the cigarettes are not only nasty, but they don't even satisfy me anymore.
I'm gradually tapering down to 22mg from 25mg. When I get back to 0mg,
Congrats on one month! I would say I’m done, but diy juice keeps dragging me down the rabbit holeFive weeks as of last night. More than a month cigarette free, have avoided buying about $300 of cigarettes.
I have also spent more than that on vaping stuff, but that's over now. As soon as my last order from Fasttech arrives, I'll never have to buy anything vape related ever again, except for juice-making supplies, and the occasional coil head. Glad to be done with buying all of that stuff.

The plant that we aren’t allowed to talk about here is also known to have neuroprotective qualities. Best part is it does this at low dosage so you can keep your wits about you while still getting the brain protection benefits. As an "older" vaper...(and having a family history of Alzheimer's)...since nicotine is the only substance proven, so far, to possibly delay/prevent the onset of senile dementia/Alzheimer's...I, myself, am quite content staying at my current nicotine level...
