Hi I was wondering if anybody has this mod yet and if so how do you like it? Was thinking about ordering a couple of them. I didn't see another thread on on this so I hope I'm in the right place. Thanks

I just ordered one from Fasttech today and it should be here in a couple of weeks.

Do a search as there are more than a few threads regarding this mod.

Initial feedback from what I have read so far is all positive (consider that the RX200 only started shipping about a week ago though). It is apparently suprisingly small and light for a 3x18650 battery mod. The TC works well, good screen and is ergonomic and solidly built.

I really didn't need one, but for $45? Why not? i was ordering coils and batteries anyways. :)

Here's a good video that goes over the RX200...

Also, I bought the green/white one. Kinda weird colour, but thought it was a little funky and different.

That review was for the model using the DNA chip.. The RX200 uses a JoyTech chip I think..
the DNA version is about $150 while the RX200 is about $50...but thx posting the vid anyway..[emoji106]

I've heard good things. I guess temp control wasn't all that but i guess an update just released to improve it.

JoyTech has been around for a while so I guess you can't say it's a "junk chip" but it's no DNA. TC is new to me with my Snow Wolf v1.5 and I haven't had good results yet. Imo I would shell out the extra cash for the DNA 200w chip. I've always wanted one anyway

How is the JoyTech chip? I'd prefer the DNA 200w chip for sure but I haven't heard any feedback on the JoyTech 200w chip. I have a Snow Wolf v1.5 now and I'm interested in the RX as well
I have heard good enough things, so I ordered one.

I'm sure the DNA is better overall, but I couldn't justify another $100 for basically an identical mod with a different chip. I was willing to buy a RX200 for $45, but also owning a Snow Wolf and Kanger Subox (and iSticks) makes it hard for me to justify a $150-200 DNA.

The price difference is definitely worth it and now only is the DNA 200 more accurate but there are so many things you can do with the software.

The DNA is also built better than the RX or any of these other mods. Its made out of Zinc Oxide instead of your typical flimsy Aluminum, stainless steel 510 connection, etc.

For me a DNA 200 is two weeks worth of sticking cigarette money in a drawer. Not very expensive considering our old habit.

Very true and thanks for the body construction info.

I may look into a DNA 200 next year. As a fairly new vaper, it is hard to keep up with the changes and advancements in the vaping industry. I am more than set for now though.

And who knows. There might even be better by next year. In the end, its all about what keeps you off cigarettes. I was only pointing out that there certainly is a reason why some mods cost a lot more.

Even if the temp control doesn't improve, ill get one anyway as a work beater. I've never been a fan of temp control anyway. Building is a great big hassle and I prefer kanthal and nichrome anyway.

I have mine on pre-order. Can't wait to get it [emoji21]

I have the DNA version and love it. Although I did have to take it apart and perform a simple fix. There is a flaw in all of them where the ribbon sits directly under the fire button and gets pushed in every time you fire the mod. Over time this could cause the ribbon to break contact. I lifted the screen and put the ribbon under it.

Not sure if the RX has the same issue since its not the same ribbon but im going to do some digging.

I love the DNA version, my friends have them and they look great with the JWRAPS carbon fibre vinyl. I haven't heard of the ribbon problem though. I'm still gonna wait for the Cloudmaker WHITEOUT. I love the modular design.

I would let your friends know about it. Its the big talk in the Facebook groups. I pulled this from the Reuleaux group.
