Are 20 amp batteries good enough for this one?
Apparently the housings are identical, the only differences are the colour and the buttons. The price difference is definitely worth it and now only is the dna 200 more accurate but there are so many things you can do with the software.
The dna is also built better than the RX or any of these other mods. Its made out of Zinc Oxide instead of your typical flimsy Aluminum, stainless steel 510 connection, etc.
For me a DNA 200 is two weeks worth of sticking cigarette money in a drawer. Not very expensive considering our old habit.

It's difficult to find any reliable information as Wismec lists neither material nor weight for either device. Clearmistvape gives 148.5g as the weight of the DNA 200 and angelcigs gives 150g as the weight of the rx200 (182g according to Fasttech). In the VapeNW comparison the weight difference is said to be slight. Pure zinc weighs a lot more than aluminium (almost three times as much), and that should be the case for alloys as well. The single 18650 koopor mini which is stainless steel and zinc alloy weighs 170g.Im going by the descriptions on the online stores as well as the comparison video done by Vape NW. The DNA model is made out of Zinc Alloy while all the sites are calling the RX, aluminum. The video comparison I watched also said the DNA version is heavier while holding one in each hand. The buttons are also better on the DNA and the sleds are different as well.
I haven't held the RX to make my own comparison but all fingers point to RX = Aluminum and DNA = Zinc Alloy.

Battery life is affected by the wattage you do. I should get my RX200 by tomorrow. Currently what I know is that TC still doesn't work 100% on the RX200 but joyetech is providing updates all the time so that will get fixed in the near future hopefully. I would say get it. It's like $50 and is pretty accurate.Hey all I am thinking about getting this mod for my son. He runs a Kanger sub tank I was wondering if anyone has the same set up and if so how long does your batteries last?

Try the cotton burn test and use keep on adjusting temp until you max it out and see.TC is working fine across the board on mine.

I saw a video on YT where it burnt the cotton. With TC this not suppose to happen even if you max out the temp.If you ramp up the temp beyond the flashpoint of cotton then it will.
If you don't - it won't!
Ah thanks. I always taught even at 590°F the cotton won't burn. The flash point for cotton is 410 Fahrenheit - if you set it to 500 Fahrenheit with dry cotton then it will burn.
It burnt the cotton at a lower temp before the released firmware - with 1.07 firmware and at 200 Celsius, it scorches it but it doesn't burn.
This means TC is working acceptably for most people.
