I got the Icon to be my go to PV when out and about. I wanted a small unit with decent battery life to replace my egos which have given me nothing but grief with a failure rate of 7 in 10, not to mention my Rivas which were 3 in 3.

Anyway, I really cannot say anything bad about the unit, but it is far from perfect. The fit and finish are good, but I would say very pricey for an all mechanical device.

The one thing that bugs me to no end is the fact that the switch does not lock into the open position for vaping. It tends to rotate clockwise and after a while will not make contact. I find myself constantly having to rotate it back. At first I thought my battery or atty was dead. Made adjustments to the brass screw, but this is not the best mechanical solution.

All in all, not bad but not great either.

I have always given PS props for their gear. No matter where you go, in terms of PV's, there will always need to be some tweaking. Some brands more than others. I was a huge fan of Cash Tab, and still use my protege from 2009 til this day. All in all, I say PS will be around for the long run. They have good CS, and good PV's. Their juice isn't for me anymore, but I know it has it's fan base. That, and I saw an old thread from a beauty contest, and Mrs. Cash is SMOKIN HOT lol. Never hurts.

My other suggestion for the icon would be that the locking mechanism washer/nut thingy be slightly larger than the diameter of the unit and be a hexagon. Boy, can this thing roll when it wants to, apparently I don't live or work anywhere perfectly flat.

I've got to agree. We've had a Protege, two V2's and a V3. The craftmanship is very good for the price. They have good quality atomizers as well. Their site is easy to navigate and very informative.

I've recently switched out my protege for an Ego, but that is because of a user error that stripped the threads on the bottom. However, my wife still loves her V3.

My wife put a couple of rows of cell-phone "bling" on her V3 to stop it from rolling. She thinks it makes it look "pretty" as well.

I've gotten 4 regular egos, 1 ego passthrough, and several atomizers from puresmoker. With these orders I've also tried two flavors, namely Appleonia & Blueberry Ice.


These products have gone through some abuse these past few months. Dropping batteries on the ground occasionally, unknowingly dry burning my LR atty while the button is pressed in my pocket, and still vaping heavily throughout the day. Regardless, I've never had a battery failure and never even had an atomizer "pop" on me. My experiences indicate high quality products to say the least!


As far as the juice goes I feel taste is subjective. Personally I've enjoyed the Appleonia & Blueberry Ice, and as soon as they have the samples I will be placing another order. What I really like about the juice is the fact that the it is very tasty, consistent, and most importantly is easy on the atomizer! With dripping, it does not leave its influence on my atomizers (even as a menthol). I can vape the tonic and switch with an easy transition.


Very happy with this vendor, you'll be seeing my business again in the near future!

The battery goes quick though, with a 1.5ohm dual coil... I only got 2 hours out of my first AW 600mah IMR...

I would like to see more options when it comes to the adapter, I really don't like the moat. I don't drip, I use tanks, so the moat just gets in the way... For $100, I don't want to have to use an adapter to get my feeders to work!

Other than that, this is an ingenious little device! Great quality, and hits like Tyson!

Hello all. Ok, I have had my Prodigy V3.1 for a year now and it still works like a champ! Amazing device!! So if anyone is wondering if it is durable and will stand the test of time, no need to wonder any longer. 1 Year and this device still works as good as the day I got it. Even been dropped a few times and you would not even know it. No one will ever get my prodigy from me unless they pry it from my cold dead hands!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE THIS DEVICE!!!

I heard a long time ago they were working on new 510 connector caps that would accept tanks and ego tank atomizers, but so far I have heard nothing more about it. I can say however, if you get the smoktech xxl cartomizers (come it 1.5ohm for 3.7V, 2ohm, and 2.5ohm for 6V) you can get a few hours of vaping without burning juice, incredible flavor and throat hit, and they fit nicely on my Prodigy V3.1 with the moat (Also the stainless steel ones look really nice on my Prodigy!). Just a suggestion.

The Icon's drip well is only wide enough to accommodate standard 510 size stuff... I like my Icon so much, that I bought a carto puncher and cartos, and am going to abandon the convenient pre-punched/flanged cartos! I really dig not having to punch my own cartos, but I dig my Icon more!
