It might be Something to keep an Eye On...

While i appreciate the inovation, I like being in control of my juice flow. Sometimes I will just barely squonk so I can get a drag or two and leave the rda dry afterwards, and sometimes I like to flood the heck out of it repeatedly while chain vaping. I don't think that mod will know how I want my vape every time I want to take a drag.

Just Me... But after Squonking for about a Month or so, I kinda lost track that I was even Squonking.

There would be Times when I would be working on the Computer for 4 or 5 Hours and I would stop and realize that I Can't Remember Squonking. But I had to have had. Because the Squonk Bottle was 1/2 Full. And it was Full when I started.

So Auto-Squonking isn't all that of an Attraction to Me.

I'm in the Wait and See camp for something like this Chip Base Auto-Squonk. Might Work Great. Might be a Flaming Dumpster Fire. Dunno?

All depends on How Well the Predictive Algorithm works compared to ones Actual Squonking/Usage.

If you can get one before they stop making them,i highly recommend the Furyan. That is the 1 mod that has beat my Rsq's in the favorite department haha.I got the black and brass one and love that mod,so i ordered the black and stainless too,but haven't got it in hand yet.
By the way,pay no attention to the almost $100 price tag most places are selling it for.Fasttech has it listed at $89,but use the map code and it's only $58.
Yea thanks I all ready have one in cart at FT with code. I have a few other items with it and should be ready to order mid next week.

I have had that happen a lot, just go into auto pilot on the squonk bottle and not realize i was doing it.

One of my concerns about an electronic based squonk system would be keeping the pump clean.

I think I Squonk when I pick the Mod up.

Because I don't tend to Hold a Mod for more than 2 or 3 Hits.

Yep, after 4 years squonking, it becomes second nature.
I'd like to see manufactures start improving on what they have, rather than trying to "re-invent the wheel"
Like developing a 510 that is leak proof internally.
If it's spring loaded, make it user servicable to replace o-rings, if needed.
Nothing will kill a regulated squonker quicker than a internal leaking 510.
How about a totally waterproof regulated mod, that I can rinse off like my REOs.

Sometimes I'll squeeze the bottle, thinking it's the fire button....
I use my anchor nano a lot (side fire, the button fires when the whole mod is grasped firmly), and when I switch to a standard style mod I'll pick it up and squeeze it thinking it will fire, and give it a strange look when it doesnt only to realize it was not the mod I was thinking it was.

I don't get why regulated squonk mods are typically not designed more like mechanical ones. By that I mean:

    * Have the 510 totally exposed and serviceable.
    * Have the chip in its own seperate compartment so that juice cannot get to it.

Like the RSQ, most regulated squonkers in fact have the chip in the same compartment as the 510. I have seen some squonkers which do not, but they tend to be on the high end.

....Oh wait, I get it. It is in order to increase the failure rate, so they can sell more mods.

    Good points,

IMO, the waterproof chip in the RSQ is a huge step in the right direction.

This could appeal to some folks new to squonking, concerned about keeping the wicks wet, etc. I know when I first started squonking, I was worried it would be hard to 'learn' how and when to squonk. As mentioned above though, it quickly became second nature and I can vape without a dry hit and not realize I'm squeezing the bottle until it's empty, lol. Funny how that happens.

When I first started squonking, I bought some BF RDTAs figuring that would help out with not squonking when I needed to, etc. I actually have standard pins in those RDTAs currently and use them on non-squonk mods. I got used to squeezing the bottle without even thinking about it. I can understand how this new feature might be attractive to some, but it doesn't do much for me. It is nice to see someone trying to do something different though. I would have been perfectly fine with YiHi making a nice squonk mod without a feature like this.

Like was mentioned, come up with a non-leaking, serviceable 510 for us, a completely waterproof design or something like that. I would be on that in a heartbeat. Fix some of the problems with current designs and I'll get in line to purchase.

I saw this mod over the weekend when updating firmware on my SL Class, and was actually exicted to see they had a squonker in the works. Kind of turned off when I saw what the innovation was. Probably a good selling point for some folks, but it doesn't solve any problems I have with my current devices.

View attachment 774135 Had doubts about this mod but after playing with it, it is a solid small mod...well built and I like it.

Yeah... The RSQ has been my Daily Driver for awhile.

I look at other Single 18650 Squonk Mods and some are Nice. I'm just not sure I would Like them after using such a Compact Mod as the RSQ.

Agreed! The SL/LP is in the Armageddon box.
I just wish the RSQ finish was more durable and the firmware a bit more useful/polished.
