I use a GT IV clone myself, being frugal (cheap). But just for restricted DTL, but they're easy to build and the glass tank section is safe with flavorings.

As for GT one and GTR, no ideas. Even though I've got a GTR clone, one day I'll have to dig it out and see how awful a build I can put on it.

And as for the Aer, not a clue at all. But it's from Atmizoo and they really make a flavorful atomiser.

I really should have picked up some Creek RDA's while they made them.

One of each, the hard part is choosing the finish

There is only one finish on the Tripod 2 and Aer RTA's. SS matte.

The OG Tripod RTA and Creek RDA were released in SS matte and SS ice matte. Atmizoo later released a DLC Carbon Black OG Tripod.

I have two Tripod's (matte and ice matte), two Creeks (matte and ice matte) and an Aer RTA.

Tripod 2 or aer. Which one to pick?

Go to the Atmizoo website and have a look at the Aer and Tripod 2 build decks. See which one suits you best. Atmizoo has excellent details for each, they're worth reading.

The Aer build deck is based on their DotShell deck.

The Tripod v1 and v2 build decks are very much like any of the build decks you will find on the modern Kayfun's (of which, I own several).

I own an Aer and a couple v1 Tripod's. For me, building and wicking them is straightforward and super easy. The Tripod's wicking is just like any of my Kayfun's.

As far as liquid capacity, the basic Aer and Tripod 2 have 2ml tank sections.

Atmizoo does sell a tank extension kit for the Aer which increases the capacity to 3.4ml.

They also sell a tank extension kit for the Tripod 2 which increases the capacity to 3.8ml when using the restricted chimney.

As an MTL vaper you might want to consider purchasing the MTL airflow pins.

Atmizoo has them in the following sizes: 0.8mm, 1.0mm, 1.2mm, 1.5mm and 1.8mm. You can purchase them individually here or if you prefer the kit with all five here.

I've had no issues with my Tripod's or the Aer. Both RTA's deliver excellent flavor.

Hope that helps!!!

As I want to throw my money away. Looking for nice MTL RTA. Currently looking at 415 and millennium. However, don't appeal to me aesthetically. I do already own a few. Secondly, not into Kayfun's.

Also worth a look is the Squape Arise. There are 24mm and 22mm versions. I own the 24mm Arise. Bought it the day they were released. It's been in-use since I received it. The Arise is also super easy to build and wick. Excellent flavor.

The KHW Mods Dvarw is another RTA worth looking at. I own a couple Dvarw MTL's and a Dvarw DL. One is always in-use. Dvarw's are also very easy to build and wick. Also excellent flavor.

ETA: I purchased my Arise direct from StattQualm. And purchased my Dvarw's direct from KHW Mods. Both companies are excellent and they ship quick.

Bought an arise and not tried yet. Came last week. Own 2 dvarw's and they are great. Have mtl and dl ones. About to purchase the aer as that looks interesting. Cheers for the info.

@TomCon87, an update for you.

I've been looking at the changes for the Taifun GT V, and discovered that they use the airdisks as they were called from the GX to alter the airflow.

I haven't seen one in the flesh so to speak, but I know that ULTON usually do a good quality clone and also the airdisks.

Absolutely no ideas on if there's a chamber reducer though.
