Rush Limbaugh has a massive audience and something like 30% of the general population could be called 'Right wing conservatives' who would more-or-less line up in support of Rush Limbaugh thinking.
Maybe 30% might be 'liberal progressive' politically who hate Rush Limbaugh ideology.
I'd call it 40% in the middle who may not care or side with Rush on half the things and disagree the other half.
The reason I mention this is just because some jump into the forum discussion as if it were assumed we all know Rush is bull and we must all realize he is stupid or ought to be hated.
As if presumed we are 'all aware Rush sucks'.
Statistically speaking the chances are actually pretty good about 1/3rd of the readers, members, posters here probably agree with Rush politically.
Most likely - a minority here 'hate him' or generally oppose Rush.
So you see what I'm saying here?
Of course, no problem if you DO think Rush is stupid and wrong but I am imagining writing a post that went like this:
- Hey guys, that idiot Jon Stewart might be wrong on every issue but for once he said something that wasn't commie propaganda when he touted e-cigs. So we all know he is a manipulative douche but at least he said something right eh guys!
Vaping is not political. Vapers are just as likely right-wing conservatives as they are flaming left-wing pinkos or they are Green Party Environmentalists or they are Ron Paul Fanatics etc etc.
One thing I would absolutely hate to see is Vaping communities try and decide they are a 'Left' organization or part of some liberal political angle. (or decide its some conservative movement either!).
No.
Sorry, I don't really follow Rush because I'm not American and don't relate to a lot of those issues but since I suppose many many people on this forum are 'Rush Conservatives' I don't know if its helpful to start insulting their cause or ideology or politics.
Hey - truth is truth and whichever celebs or politicians will correctly defend vaping for the right reasons then its good for us I say.
Rush has a massive audience and that is only good publicity no matter how you slice it.
