Wow, they are that high here in Michigan now? I switched to Roll Your Own years ago. Then I switched to e-cigs when they taxed the heck out of loose tobacco.
Yep. 3 packs Basic Lights for $17.25 - $5.75 a pack at the corner gas station. About the best deal I could find where I live. Premium brands are more of course.

That's where I was going with this. I find these prices to be motivation to find another vice. Being in Virginia, I was ho-hum about the cost savings of vaping. However, when I visited MD, I was like Holy Cow! Glad I don't smoke anymore!
Around $10.50/pk for B&H's (20 in a pack) here in Vancouver BC. I never once bought a carton and rarely bought multiple packs at once (because of course, each pack could've been "my last" LOL). Wouldn't have wasted as much money had I shopped smarter!
If you are paying $40 a carton in VA you definitely aint shopping at 7-11. Most c-stores are above $5 a pack.
Around 6 bucks here in NE Washington. Most smokers I know make occasional trips across the border to Idaho to the Indian smoke shops where you can still get a carton of Marlboros for about $35, cheap brands for $22 or so.
I noticed that cigarettes in England are around £6 ($9) for a pack of twenty. But I always smoked roll-ups, with duty-free tobacco. It costs me twice as much to vape.

Yeah, about $10 per pack here in Chicago. I don't mind placing a $30 order once a week when it used to be $20 per day for smokes.
Youve obviosly been vaping for quite awhile, they are nearly 17$ a pack of Winfield Blue 25's and thats the cut price supermarket more at servo's and pubs.

In Kansas Newports are $6.50 / pack
In Philly last year they were $4.99

I haven't bought a pack since December when I started making my own. At that point I was smoking USA Light Menthol $4.25 a pack.
Since December I've been making my own at < .80 a pack. That is till around noon today when my kit and other goodies arrive. Hope I've made my last analog, we'll see.

Well I saw somebody buy a pack of newports form a convenience store, smoke shop so it's cheaper. They were newports and they were 9.30 for the pack. I still smoke somewhat and I buy a reservation brand on the res and they are 18 a carton. Jeesh!
Damn! It's only been about a year since she told me that about the eight bucks

In Mass. they run around 8.50 a pack for brand names....that's if you shop around. Thank god for the NH border right up the street.
