Played around with the wick/coil a bit more... I have come to find, the "Jack Frost Method" is pretty much required with this thing... Jack Frost Method had me a good wick, kicking steam like crazy, in about 10 minutes.

Still enjoying the AB. Kinda sad that I managed to cloud my tank already 
I've only run NLV BH, Gold, Johnson Creek's Solstice and Rainier so far.
Any plans for a pyrex upgrade in the future, Chopper? I'd get on that list in a heartbeat

The Johnson Creek is the culprit,it does all my tanks the same way.Working on getting some other type of tank right now,its just a waiting game.

before i get offline for today i just wanted to say a big thank you to chopper!
i had run into some small problems with my original atom and pmed chopper for help. instead of having me sent it back for repairs, which chopper was willing to do, he mailed an atom bomb to me free of charge. (((hugs)))
now my destroying the wick due to my clumsiness is another story all together

I just ordered an Atom black on black for my black provari. This is my first rebuildable, can't wait to get it and partake my Boba's. been watch vids on genesis style so I am ready as I'll ever be to try it.

Chopper is a good man! I was not happy with my two Atoms at all. I even had to send one of them back for repair. What did Chopper do? He did not repair my Atom, but sent me an Atom Bomb instead. But wait - theres more! Not only did he send me an Atom Bomb - he sent me ANOTHER Atom Bomb to replace the Atom that I still have! It took quite a while, as he is so busy, but it was definitely worth the wait! I put my stamp of approval on these - brilliant design and solidly made. The only improvement that can be made really, is glass or pyrex tanks. These things are kick ...!

Yep - got em. My wife swiped the black on black AB, as it looks better on her gold ProVari. I have the silver on frosted on my satin finished ProVari. I will have to take pics after we come back from the gun show this weekend. Mine is having wicking issues, but no biggie, as I have crap loads of mesh here - could probably make myself a few screen doors... LOL.
I'm still having trouble out of mine... No matter how much oxidizing I do, I can't get more than a hit or two before it shorts again. That and I have to hold it above horizontal in order to keep the wick wet. I want this thing to work so bad, but no matter how hard I try, it never gives me more than 15 minutes of joy before it goes all wonky again...
I'm sure the shorting will stop once I get the wick hole insulated... That's the only difference between it and my other RBA's... but the not wicking thing is driving me insane! On Monday I will be ordering some 500 SS Mesh. From what I've read in the modders forum, it wicks about a thousand times better than 400.

I usually go the other way with less dense mesh. I will put 325 in mine later. Its what worked with the Atom, and it works well for my juice in all my other genis (Katana, iHybrid, Atoms, DIDs, etc, etc). I vape 50/50 PG/VG.

I have heard, but never tried it. 325 works well for me and I don't get any wicking issues with it. I ALWAYS have wicking issues with the 400. I just stick with what has been working for me. If I find anyone that already has some 500, I may beg a small piece to make a wick to try. If you get some, let me know!
325 is what was installed on yours.Maybe its just my wick rolling that is bad?I have no problems except with a new wick but after some dripping on the coil and firing it and repeating it seems to work out.

I have a sheet of 270 and of 200, I have been messing around with. Honestly I dont see a huge difference. However when Mr BJ43 says try this, or this is good, you try it. With that said, thanks for the link and order placed.
