I love all of you so much for holding me and my Mother up in Prayers.

Please forgive me for the all of the errors in my posts... i'm so exhausted... but grateful and thankful.

PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't know how your mom normally looks, Cuz, but I was actually thinking how great she looks after going through what she has!!! Her hair looks wonderful, she is smiling, and I was expecting her pics to look ..... really bad, to be honest. After seeing these, I am just flat out excited for all of you!!! She does look frail, but give her time to get back on her feet.

Now rest, Cuz. You need it. You're going to have to be on your 'A' game once you're there. Hug her 'gently' from all of us. Will be praying for your safe trip there and back. Love you!

Update on Mom: (Around 7pm EST): Nurse Alexa said Mom was doing "pretty good".. her potassium was low and that her blood was still too thin, and a few other things regarding INR and Heart Rhythm and what have you; (honestly, she spoke faster than I could write).... but aside from all that, said Mom "may" be discharged to go home tomorrow. She then took her personal cell phone into Mom's room and allowed me to speak to her.... and the difference between how Mom sounded today compared to how she sounded yesterday at around the same time literally blew me away, that's how much STRONGER she sounded! She's better Saints! In her own words, "Not out of the Woods yet".... but better! Thank you Jesus and Thank you Saints for the continuous prayers!

They can give her potassium in oral form. They can also give her something in oral form for her thinning blood, don't know what INR is, but does she have a pacemaker? What was going through my mind when you said she sounded stronger was the theme to 'Rocky.'

Why would they release her if she is 'not out of the woods yet?' Of course, your frame of mind is 100% better away from the hospital. Am still praying, Cuz!

Philippians 4:6-7
King James Version (KJV)

6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Stand on this, Cuz! We're standing with you!

does she have a pacemaker?

No, she doesn't.

lol... that comes as no surprise to me b'cause my Ma is a fighter, that's for sure!

Why would they release her if she is 'not out of the woods yet?'

My thoughts exactly!... and I have no earthly idea!

Her Dr. basically told the Family that even tho' she's better she's still bad and that he can't 'fix' her badly damaged Heart and Lungs. All of us here on THIS Forum however know the ONE MASTER PHYSICIAN who can!!!!!

I'd also like to share what Mom told my Sister-In-Law Diane... I don't know exactly WHEN Mom shared this with Diane... (because Diane really talks fast so you have to listen real fast! lol) .. but it went something like this;

Mom to Diane: "Diane, Did I tell you I talked to GOD?"

Diane to Mom: "No Mae, I don't believe you did! You talked to GOD?"

Mom to Diane. "Yes, and I told Him I was ready to come Home if He wanted me to, but I told Him I really love my Husband and my Kids, and that if it wasn't my time yet, and He wanted me to stay on Earth that He'd have to make me well enough to stay. He then said; "Love me first" .....and she's still here isn't she?.

THIS blew Diane away, (as she struggles with belief in GOD over grief and loss issues as she lost a Son in 2006 which she's still never fully recovered from.)

I hope and pray Mom remembers this Story and re-tells it personally to me....

Oh! I should add for those of you who don't know on this Board.... My Mother is a devout follower of Jesus Christ and a Woman of EXTREME Faith! I've seen Relatives healed (that shouldn't have been!) due to her prayers for healing....

She KNOWS Jesus and NOTHING has ever changed that. She's lost every single living Relative (including 3 children) to Death and nothing shakes her Devotion and Faith. She's all alone in the World now except for her Spouse and surviving Children. No Mommy or Daddy left, No brothers or Sisters, Aunts or Uncles... no one... she's all that's left of HER Family...... She's a ROCK that only knows how to Love her Children and care for others.

What a testimony, Cuz! Can't wait until you post her story! She sounds like a lady after my own heart!

Our God is an Awesome God, He reigns from Heaven above with Wisdom Power and Love our God is an Awesome God!

How did you know I was asking myself that exact question yesterday, Now I can be in agreement not only with you but MOM also.

    Psalms 37:4

Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

"I" didn't, but the Holy Spirit did ;)

Cuz, I hope I'm not being too intrusive, but what is wrong with your mom's heart and lungs? Is she a smoker? Both of my parents were. Of course Daddy had to give them up when he went into the nursing home, except for a few occasions when we rolled him outside.

I don't know how I knew your mom was a born again, but I did. Odd, really.....but I like it! :D

For those who are just passing through this might sound really crazy so, here's understanding that can be found in the Bible, we Christians call proof and blondeambition3 and myself was given, proof again of the same spirit.

    Ephesians 4

    4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Yes, Mom "IS" a Smoker..... she was STILL hiding in her bathroom and smoking a cig or two a day (maybe more, we can't know for sure) up until this recent hospitalization. Mom has been a smoker since about the age of 15 I believe.... a pack a day of Pall Mall REDS (NON FILTER) until she was in her Seventies I believe... then she switched to light and ultra light brands and still smokes something along those lines.... Merit Lights.... something like that. I've tried MULTIPLE times to get her onto Vapes, but my Step Dad won't have it, thinks Vaping is still a form of smoking.... I get 'shot down' every time I try. It's frustrating..... I keep praying for him too. He has advanced Leukemia now..... it's a MESS in OHIO but it's a MESS that it is my Family and I love.....

Of course you love them! I know your heart, Cuz. I can't imagine you not loving them. I still look at Jessica and see the love you put into creating her. I know your heart.

Sounds like you've all got your hands full. I didn't know your daddy was so sick. You can do this. You don't think you can but you put yourself aside and concentrate on them through the Power of Jesus. Your mom has chosen her path. It's her life and I believe it is up to her on how she wants to live it. At this particular stage of it all, all you can do is support her with love. Sure, it's difficult...no doubt about it, but you and Jesus make up the majority! My mother-in-law taught me how to take care of the very sick. You do for them what you would want to have done for you. That's all. It's that simple. I was even putting drops in Daddy's eyes, a wash cloth on the forehead or wipe his entire face and neck, if possible, put a moisturizer on his lips....moisten his mouth, turn him on a regular interval.....stuff like that. Just put yourself in their place and do accordingly. Jesus won't leave nor forsake you. Allow Him to keep you calm and focused and there's no telling what you can accomplish! You will be amazed and your husband will stand back and go 'WOW,' look at my wife! You will be the example of how Jesus can work through a person through the Holy Spirit! Get ready! :)

Hey Cuz! Are you back from your parents? How is your mom and daddy? I have prayed for them and wanted you to know. I pray they are better. :)

    I am back!

but! I'm still fighting off the aftermath of this 'creepy crawling crap' that everyone had there! :glare:

It's some sort of viral Bronchitis/Pneumonia/Laryngitis infection. You would laugh your tail off if you could hear me.... I sound like Pee Wee Herman on steroids!

My Mom is doing OK, but as always she's back to trying to do too much too soon. Her Health is fragile and will remain so until the day the Lord finally calls her home. She did re-tell me the story of her conversation with GOD.... she got very 'emotional' in the re-telling, so she is basically re-affirming that she knows she's still here because of that conversation and by the Prayers of the Saints. I know everything is in God's hands.

My Step Dad's health is another matter. He has end-stage Leukemia and is currently taking Chemo for it.... he looks horrible and I know he's feeling even worse. Both of them are going to try and remain in their current Home for as long as they are physically able, which isn't going to be much longer IYKWIM? Who knows?

I was going to phone you last night Cuz but thought better of it because it was after 10pm when the notion struck me, so I thought better of it....

I love  you all and after a few more 'recovery' days I'll be able to read and post away like my old self here!

Cuz, you can call me ANYTIME! I am Central Daylight Savings Time. I just presume that you are Eastern, so I'm behind an hour. Even if it's the same time, it doesn't matter. I'm usually up until 12 midnight or so. Even if I'm not, again, it doesn't matter. I don't believe we've ever talked on the phone, or have we? I can't remember! I know what you're going through, and you don't have to go through it alone......I'm here.......okay, Cuz? Well okay then!
