I was looking through some toolboxes I acquired after my father passed and found a decent size spool of wire. Stainless Steel Mig wire, .030" diameter. AWS A5.9 ASME SFA 5 if that means anything to anyone.

I understand this is for his mig welder which I never used, but would this wire be safe to use in my SGV3? Thought of using it for a dual coil setup in place of silver wire which I do not have.

Should work OK, it should be stainless through the entire wire so I think it would be safe and should work well.

Why here? Because Dan is such a great guy that he sent me his one and only prototype for the Micro-G as he knew in his infinite wisdom that *someone* would appreciate it. :2cool:

No ego battery treatment from me, this needed a smaller mod, so one AW IMR 14500 and some smaller chunks of brass later, it's a mini beast of sorts and provides a good strong vape when discretion really counts:

That's why I was hoping Dalton would be able to put together a co-op for the minis....that would be perfect for me to use on an airplane....really stealthy vape! I still want one.....may have to bribe Dan to make me one or two......LOL...yeah right!

I got called to help a friend run a module builder, so I haven't had time to even play with that emachineshop software. The weather screwed up the cotton pretty bad here, so they are just now harvesting.

Ok asdaq, you are officially a "Bad-...". That little beast is beautiful. Please, please, please do a tear-down with photos.

Bad? This made my day :D

The insides are very simple, there is no room for much anything else:

BFG #2, Ok so I made another BFG this weekend, and have tried 3 different coils (since I have a REO to test on). The best setup so far is a 1/2" x 1.5mm vertical SS wick with silica rope wrapped around the base (not touching the coil). This allows for the silica to soak up the juice and then transfer it to the SS wick and then to the coil. I am using 4 wraps of 32 awg kanthal @ 1.7ohms, and this thing rocks.

Whats going on with the Gtank US co-op? Did I miss the payment call?

You have until the 10th to pay, since there are 225 people, and the ECF only lets me send PM's to 5 ant a time it would take me forever to do a pay call :)
I did send PM's to those that requested it. But I was going to send a PM tomotrrow to let people know they had 1 day left. Alot easier with 50 that 225.
