Oh perfect! I like those 15ml madvapes ones better. Thanks!

BTW, what gauge should I get for filling the SGV3? Assuming 100% VG. I want it big enough, but also small enough to fit in the fill hole.

I just ordered 16g and 17g tips. Looks like the fill hole is about 1.5mm, and 16 and 17g are both smaller than that and someone else said 17g will work with VG, so I should be good there.

Now I won't have to slide the tube up and fill it that way, it's so messy and wastes some liquid as it somes out the wick holes. Excited to get this up and running :)

I think I was using 16ga. - I use 100% VG

I couldn't use 16G on mine but it might be a difference whether you got one from Dan's co-op or my co-op.

Do you mean regarding the fill hole? That's what I'm afraid of, because the hole looks pretty small, but the specs say about 1.5mm. Hopefully at least the 17g will fit.. time will tell!

I'll have to take a look at it when I get home again, maybe it's bigger than I remember it being..

Edit: I just submitted a ticket with them and asked if I could replace one of the 2 16g needles with a 20g, juuuust in case. So I should have a 16, 17 and 20g tip.

Got a 1/32" drill bit for my dremel today, was hoping to get the 325 mesh in the mail today, but no dice. Guess I'll be using the carto one more day (hopefully not longer than that!)
I'm almost out of Boba's Bounty as well, but luckily I have another 100ml coming tomorrow, phew. Tomorrow should be a good day!

Quick question, and it's probably a stupid question but, you should be able to quench the SS wick in VG the same as PG right? I'm thinking of ordering some VG (maybe PG as well) for wick making purposes (maybe some DIY liquid one day) - I found a gallon for less than $50 on amazon, but if anyone has a better source feel free to hook me up :)

The more I look at my scubagenv3 sitting here not in use, the more this carto tastes like filler material... I can't wait to use it!

Still not sure if I should drill that hole yet or not.. I'll wait until everything is set up and see how the vape is before making a decision.

Ok, I know I'm rambling a bit, sorry :p

Cool, I actually just called our local food coop and they have USP food grade Vegetable Glycerin, I will probably just get it there. It might be a little more expensive than buying it online but at least it will last a good while. Hopefully my mesh comes today as well! Hoping to have this SGV3 up and running today :)
crossing my fingers!

Just wanted to update everyone..

As soon as day posts that the parts are on their way, I will close the ordering phase of the Ghost protocol Co-Op and post paypal address everyone will have exactly one week (7 days) to send payment. Please make sure to include your #units, nick, name and address. I will compare lists and pm those that have not sent payment by day 4-5, as a reminder. run time for the parts should be less than a week, from the day I place the order.

I thought you were going to close it two weeks after the orders were shipped? I planned to wait until mine arrived and see how I like it "stock" before deciding on whether to order the clear tube.

Do we want another delay, especially since we've been in a quagmire on the parts?

The way I look at it, if I don’t like the GT-US, I’ll bundle the GPs with them. Remember - the GT-US is about the options.

It's your Co-op--you can do as you like. If I decide I want something other than stock, I'll figure it out. :)

kazz, there will probably be some showing up in classies once people decide whether they are using them or not. The doctors are keeping me out of the shop so I figured I'd order just in case they don't let me back in for a while. I've seen people make tubes like this with just dremels and hack saws too. You would need either a drill hole bit or a good souce of gromets for the top though.
