Hell to the YEAAH!

Oriana... off-topic: I see in your sig that you've saved more in a month & a half than I have in almost 4! OMFG!! How much are smokes in Toronto??

Just going by your sigs:

Toronto: $506.67/921 = $0.55/cig (CDN$)

LA: $469.20/2346 = $0.20/cig (US$)

currencies are almost at par.....so yeah, big difference. Lots of taxes.

Tabasco LAnd
Anywhere from $10.50 (that was a deal) to $12/pk. Benson & Hedges
Pretty expensive brand and also expensive here (taxed to the nines) :(

How much did you pay per pack?
Roughly $4/pack... It varied from ~$38 (and change) on sale, up to $42-ish including sales tax for a carton of Marlboro Special Blend. I'd buy Lights, or Mediums, if they were the ones on sale. Reds never seemed to go on sale.

There is no doubt that PG is irritating to the throat, as evidenced by the throat hit we get from vaping. It may even be irritating to the upper respiratory tract, as evidenced in some studies. This guy also has a sensitive throat due to some sort of condition. I doubt that he is complaining just to complain. Ya'll are very quick to judge someone you don't know. Regardless, I hope things work out well for you and your roomy, Oriana :)

As the landlord(if this is the case), be careful as they might throw the rule book at you...

a sneaky lawyer may say, " the tenant has given a verbal complaint regarding the landlord not maintaining a safe living environment."

IE: Tenant told you about his condition and that your vaping has aggravated it, yet nothing was done.

Safe living conditions are the responsibility of the land lord, as long as the tenant makes aware those concerns to the landlord.
(check local by-law/contract agreement for complete details) as i am not 100% on this.
Two of my friends are landlords, and the stories i have heard are mind blowing. Just to get out of paying rent.

best advice i can say is; have a sitdown with your roomy.
tell him that you dont want to stop vaping in the comfort of your home, but still want to be considerate of his condition, and come to a mutual agreement.

Show him some of the research you have found, as proof of your concern regarding the situation. It may even ease any thoughts that the lingering vaper that may be in the house wont kill him.

Keep it positive & keep a good friendship! :D

I thought the hit was from the nic...

No matter how high i crank my PV, 0 nic still feels like 0 nic,
plumes of smoke but no throat kung-fu kick.

aside from the burnt taste of juice

Heya BuzzKilla nice to meet you and your GF on Friday - thanks for coming down and letting me torture you with funk :headbang:!

He won't throw the book at me - I've known him for years. Not exactly a buddy buddy that I hang with though. Yes I am def going to have a sit down and try to work something out. Unfortunately I just went and bought a bird so fan drafts have to be very strategically placed but it's not impossible to get some air flow.

Plus, ya know, it wouldn't hurt for me to chill on the amount of vaping in certain rooms at certain times, like when he's cooking, etc.

Always a pleasure. We both had fun. Always down for a vape and some music. You really got a crowd goin there with vape interest :D
But i think my Precise 18650 with M.A.P. tank might have scared off a few... lol

yeah, being more aware of where your vaping could be a good way to control how often your hitting the PV.
I've gone through 6ml in one day at work, i don't think i actually put it down...
desk job can be mind-numbing at times....

Have you tried 100%PG at 0nic? Still a great throat hit on that, I tell ya.

haven't tried in a really long time, been steady at 50PG/50VG for a year now.

been looking for a way to cut the nic(8mg now) some more, without hit sacrifice...
will try that out!

It was fun - people would ask me what I was smoking (Infinity Pro) and I'd point to you and your Precise and say see, there's another one. Got people pretty interested cause it wasn't just one weirdo, more legit somehow.

I've converted most of my friends to vaping.
we all have different setups; Redds, Bloogs, 510, Precise, LavaTube, Ego, and the occasional Frankenstein box mod.
We are always prepares with a wide variety of tanks attys cartos, and a rainbow of drip tips...

When someone approaches us, it is like being hit with a encyclopedia of vape info.

When im not surrounded by a fog of PV wielding vapers, i just get the occasional raised eyebrow.
I just ignore it, unless i'm asked.

No need to feel self conscious about it, curiosity is in our nature :D
But unfortunately, so is the need to fear what we don't understand...
That's why most of the time, i just keep walking.

Self-conscious? Me? Sometime back somewhere in a post in a thread in the Canada forum on ECF I said that my mission is to promote the coolness of vaping.

So far only one friend has joined me in vaping, but she discretely uses 808s. The rest of my friends are shaking their heads and laughing (not in a bad way), they just don't have the guts :).

I call myself a weirdo in jest.

It's just a matter of acceptance, they will eventually see the light.
That and i would wine like a 9 year old child in Walmart, every time a friend would get into my car after having a cigarette. This is after i swore that i would not become THAT guy complaining about smokers... It is just so hard not too, i just don't know how my g/f dealt with it for so long.
