I heard that the FDA wanted to Ban Meteors. But the Whitehouse line itemed that out.
No they don't want to ban them . Just tax them at $1/mg. However meteors less than 100 million years old are now prohibited from leaving smoke trails when they collide with earth.

Industry experts claim that that is just a stealth prohibition against striking earth.

I know you meant milli-meteor but all sins are forgiven.

Good luck. :D

No the tax is based on eliquid equality. One dollar per milligram should do it. That's $1000/gram. There's a lot of lost tobacco tax revenue to make up for.

Hmm... If they actually believe that what they've been telling the world, that nicotine is the most addictive substance known to man, then I suppose they might also be delusional enough to think that users would pay such a tax. The only saving grace here is that $1000/gram tax would make it more valuable than any of the substances we can't talk about here and thus ensure a THRIVING "informal" market. :)

Yes, we need the high-profile attention. More, much more, of our leadership need to step up. We have, and they're not listening. They should and take action as it's in large part the lack proper process that we're fighting and it's roots, in faulty acts of Congress.

Good luck. :)

I'm sure that the FDA anticipated all the law suits coming, so they are most likely already prepared for that. I'm sure they probably feel they are prepared to answer the questions by Senator Johnson. Hopefully Senator Johnson is serious enough about this to grill em hard, and keep after it.

The question I'd like Senator Johnson to ask is, "Mr. Zeller, please explain why are you attempting to destroy an industry that has proved in lab tests to be 95% safer than smoking and all the while allowing an industry that produces a product that is known to have killed millions of Americans to continue to produce tobacco cigarettes.? Please explain to us how this makes any sort of sense at all."

And Zeller will ignore the question, launching into a diatribe about the evils of underage vaping and how that needs to be stopped.

Would a LED flashlight head with a 510 connection advertised as "for e-cigarettte batteries" be under the deeming rulzes??? And this would come in handy while outside looking for meteors...

:)

Every member of law enforcement owns several LED flashlights. They are known to cause temporary blinding of suspects in order to affect arrest without a struggle.

A 510 thread connection might make it suspect, though.

Mr. Zeller shouldn't be Asked, or allowed to answer, this Question.

The Answer to that Question, as well as the Other Questions Sen. Johnson has asked, should be answered Directly by Califf.

If nicotine is the most addictive substance in the world, why are there so many Daily Coffee/Soda Drinkers, Energy Drink'ers, Sugar consumers than Smokers?

Why do most Smokers not break a PAD habit for Decades? How is it many 1.5 PAD Smokers let 30%-50% of their Cigarettes Burn down in an ashtray or Extinguish them prematurely?:glare:

So, as the Campaign against tobacco Marches on, it has Gone from Tar, to Tar and Carcinogens, to Nicotine, to nicotine is highly addictive, to Nicotine is a Highly Addictive and Harmful substance, to Nicotine is the Most Addictive substance in the world. Hmmm......

I would quote comparative information, but :rules:

I vote for sugar as a tie for the number one addiction.
