.... Durbin (D - Illinois), along with Sherrod Brown (D -Ohio), Richard Blumenthal (D - Connecticut) and Edward J. Markey (D-Massachusetts):

"Unfortunately, this year, many young viewers saw notable displays of e-cigarette use throughout the awards show, including the opening monologue and repeated shots of celebrities smoking e-cigarettes."

I'm shocked! Shocked!

Also "many young viewers saw notable displays of..."

Propaganda (The Wolf of Wall Street)

I know some don't care for Rush, but he just spent about 5 min ragging on this and preaching good about e-cigarettes. He even came back to it after a break. Two things he had wrong, nothing but water vapor and nicotine the most addictive drug. With his large audience the Senators letter may work out to cause more people to try e-cigarettes than it stops.

:D:vapor:

I love how elected officials have so much time to micro-manage the behavior of people, yet don't accomplish anything of substance when it comes to the job they were hired to actually do.

This is it, EXACTLY!

Just heard this story driving home. Heard it on a very popular New Jersey based radio station (NJ 101.5). The hosts, Dennis & Judy, were absolutely RIPPING the senators for their whining.

Now just because it is always liberal Democratic senators who are screaming and writing letters about the need to stop vaping everywhere, we must "understand" that it is not a "political" issue and also "understand" that it is not liberal Democratic senators who want vaping eliminated. It must be just a coincidence. Just like it is a coincidence that the FDA tried to have vaping banned in 2009 when a new administration came to power. And it is just a coincidence that the President appointed a life-long lobbyist for Big Pharm as the head of the FDA. We shouldn't make any connection between politicians with a particular leaning and nanny-state legislation and the need to stop vaping where ever possible. These are all just coincidences, nothing more.
