Life begins at 40 - but so do fallen arches, rheumatism, faulty eyesight, and the tendency
to tell a story to the same person three or four times.

I have a friend who is having a lot of work done on her teeth; gonna make 'em pretty. She said she will give up smoking to keep them nice and white. Which brought up the question: if nicotine stains the teeth, a pv and nicquid would not be an option - right? I wasn't sure how to answer that. We know cigs stain teeth - is it due to nicotine in any form? or everything else in cigs?

Does anyone know? Like many of us, she has not been successful quitting smoking in the past.

Obviously I don’t get around enough. I never knew about the veterans group much less the seniors! How old do you have to be to join the club?

I now find myself apologizing before I say something. "Sorry if I have already told you this...." Along same lines I have a couple of friends that I have heard the same thing over and over. One of them, same things over last 20-30 years. Never enters her mind that she has told me the same thing a dozen times already....LOL
