Don't know how I feel about tearing the damn thing apart though.. Don't have a heat gun ATM and there is probably nothing else that's going to get that housing out of the control top.

You're just that good of a guy! Err, or that bad of one.. Anywho! I didn't know for sure if my Bolt would handle it, but so far, so good! When I get another (capable of handling higher voltages) mod, I plan on rewiring it. But so far, even pushing DCCs (which I never do) and 2ish ohm cartos, it has been a treat. Typically run a 3 ohm on it, cause I have 8 tanks with 3 ohm cartos that I typically rotate. Can't say for sure how the switch and wiring will hold up after, say about, a couple of months.. But until then, I will beat the crap out of it!

Its almost a waste of money and sanity if you don't read a lot about this stuff. Everything I have or have been interested in, has been researched to my liking. But hopefully you don't hear about anything breaking. Although, if the switch goes out, its not like its not an easy fix. Would give me more incentive to replace the wires and its only a $2 horn switch. Heck, while looking at the internal wires on the LT, I wondered why they used that small of gauge..

Yeah, at the least..which is why the main PVs that I want are made in America or Greece and built to last..Not to say that China doesn't have anything to offer, quality wise. But the mass production over there comes with a price (or lack there of).

I'm assuming a lack of appropriate batts and chargers since you've not had a need for them. Working on/checking that part of the equation right now.

With 2 complete Roughstacks and 2 additional switches I got one to fire consistantly. Right at the end I discovered a very simple, minor thing that may have been my problem from the get-go.

Please lavish praise and gifts upon me and shout about my greatness from the top of the woodman tower...lol.

Keg....think its going to work. This will give you a better option right now than what you have and hold you til you can get what you really want.
Trying to set you up with a couple 18650 batts and a couple 4.8 nimh batts. All the batts are a little long in the tooth, but aren't we all. My main concern right now is making sure I have appropriate working chargers for you. Checking that right now.

Batts are charging back up after use...so.....
Only caveat....older, used batts and chargers. Batts drop off quick...can't attest to longevity, but this along with what you have, I hope, should help ya out.

Yes, I added extra wick/wire to our order. I do not know exactly how much will be in there, but in the meantime you could check amazon and/or ebay. I know I saw about 1,000 feet of A-1 32awg Kanthal wire on Amazon for about $25.
