Yes it is, found the coconut crush does mighty fine at about 10w, still not bringing out much tobacco, but those island flavors come out more and more.

There isn't a whole of tobacco in there. Just enough to taste, amidst a bevy of tropical deliciousness, lol. You may like a few of my other citrus or pineapple type tobacco flavors. Those seem to be my main go-to vapes and judging from what, I remember, you telling me..those would be right up your alley!

Dry burn was an incorrect usage of terminology on my part. If you're burning the booze off, it's not really dry burning per se.

The silicone plug you're speaking of, that's not the little "cup" the coil sits in, is it? I haven't even taken a head apart yet but I wonder if that cup is even necessary other than to keep the legs from touching the sides.

Burning booze is a no-no unless you are following it up by taking it down..just sayin' :D

The plug is that little do-dad that sits over the coil and extends up and underneath the top cap. It has that metal spacer in it.. I believe..

The plug is on the bottom. It acts as the insulator between the positive post and negative threads. Unscrew the atty, it is slightly off white. It has a small flange. The leads are smooshed against it. The atty will not work without it. Every atty and cart has an insulator in that location.
Dry burn to me is when you hold down the button untill it glows red. I used to clean carbon residue this way, but I just get a new one anymore. It was just too much work to get a $6 unit to work 2 more weeks.

Not sure what I really like, straight tobaccos are growing more and more on me, and I'm also looking for nice bright citrus flavor, not necessarly in combo with tobacco....did you get the fizz for the cherry lime ade?

Sure did grab some. I made up a bottle of Red Bull and added some of that in there, so I will be able to see how much "fizz" it's going to give at what percentage.. TWT!

I get it now. Had to take one apart to check it out. Don't think I'm getting that one back together anymore! When you make the new coil do you leave the legs long and then trim them after you put it back together? If not, I have serious doubts in my ability to reassemble the head properly.

It is easier then threading a needle. Just make your leads long. Put one on the inside and one on the outside of the insulator. Then push everything back. I use fingernail clippers to trim the remaining exposed wire. After a couple, you can do this in just a couple minutes.

Cool. Have to give that a go when I get my hands on some materials and the stress level is at a minimum. Thanks for the tips.

Y'all make me nervous when you're this quiet. When my kids were little and they were quiet like this, I knew that they were up to no good.

Pitt....aretheyhereyetaretheyhereyetaretheyhereyet?
I picked up some nichrome, a couple drip tips and a few batts at Madvapes tonight. Need to find a chunk of kanthal and think I'll be set.
Not real sure about silica wick having done some reading on it. I'll give it a go but can see me picking up some cotton gauze and cotton yarn...maybe some bamboo. Luckily I think that can all be had locally pretty easily.

Haha, just been busy today..typical Monday here, although, probably up to no good as well.

Calm down there buddy they could have left the supplier, at the latest, today. But they wil be here soon!! Still have torder some mesh and another substitute for the silica, in case I don't end up liking it. You will havechunk of kanthal with the order, plus a bit extra..just unsure about how much. I have seen vendors and suppliers have 6 inches worth (not including the pre-assembled wick/coil) all the way up to a foot or 2. I'm hoping that ebay seller pops up after the 15th so I can grab 4 spindles or so, for cheap.

The nichrome at Madvapes was $2.99 for 10'.....not a bad price. I picked up 10 of the 36 and 20' of the 34.
I can hook you up with a few feet of each so you can check it out. 34 was recommended for 5-6 volts elsewhere.
Also grabbed a new 18650 so should have that angle covered.
Looked at/been reading on the mesh also....who knows what's the best way to go.

That's not bad, price wise.. what kind of 18650 you grab? I could have hooked you up with 1 or 2 of those. Mesh seems recommended anywhere from 200 to 400-450. There are a few threads I subscribed to, that I need to read again and figure out vendors and what everybody else suggests..

New product at Madvapes imr 18650...whatever that means..no name...just imr18650. $6.99 so not expecting much, certainly not aw/panasonic quality but if I decide to upgrade that's easy enough. I had gifted my 2 good aw's when I left them laying around for weeks while hitting 6 volts, then almost immediately wished that I had them back for this and that.

Got a text from one of "the guys"...site is up and running but is a work in progress. I know they have more products that aren't listed, but check out the extensive liquid line and their price.

Caterpillar vapes.

They are probably re-wrapped Sanyo bats..not great, but pretty darn good, none the less. The site is coming along.. great prices on the liquids. Wouldn't mind trying some Hangsen liquids, but may just grab the Hangsen flavorings from VZ and go with it!

I'm hoping they carry some flavorings....I mentioned it.
In light of everything I'm going to mention rba's and supplies. They both have pennys so they may see how hot these have become and how supplies are a bit scarce.

Think I'm going to call it a day. Been long, hot and 2 doctor appts. Today.
If those atties show up in the middle of the night just run them on over. Call first of course..lol.

Smell ya later Holmes.......

Right on..if those suckers show up in the middle of the night, I will bring them over, but there will be no call first. The best I'll do is wrap em up in a piece of paper, with a note, and chuck em through your window!
