Just as note, postal workers get their orders from the head office for compliance, it would be an inter dept postal memo if anything changed state side on mailing vape products. I doubt most post offices have had any notice, it is usually last minute stuff that comes down for changes.

I think vape shops will be required to have their tobacco retail license and those that don't a warming or shut down until in compliance, but time will tell. And those that didn't submit their inventory lists to FDA by 8-8 also a warning or perhaps shut down. Mailing, could be caught in the restrictions import of tobacco products from overseas. We shall see. There is so much going on and required of the vendors that is where the unknowns are. How hard will they get hit.

No inventory list needed to be submitted to the FDA by 8/8/16. Not a requirement of the deeming for our ecigs.

Got my 40W Kboxes from Hoosier today. Not bad! Worthy of the stash for that price. Not sure how long they will last, but I'm not sure how long Picos will last either. Good to have some variety.
I am still debating with myself about those 40W kboxes. Have you tried one of them yet? I am thinking there is a screw in cap on the bottom to replace the battery kinda like the cap on the top of the pico. Is that correct?
I really wish they would sell out so I could just stop thinking about them :D

They do have a battery cap in the bottom and it has a pretty strong spring but after using it a little it's much easier to work now. I like the device well enough that I've ordered a few more. When Hoosier runs out you can still order some from Health Cabin for $14 and they have the black ones too. $30 gets free shipping.

 I had a couple in a cart last night for a few minutes. Realized I was close to a panic purchase, which so far I've managed to avoid, and emptied the cart. Maybe I was just making sure they were still there for you :D

Yup, screw on battery cap, but it's on the bottom, and sits flush with the mod. If you can deal with your watts being 8, 13, 20, 25, 35, or 40, I'd say it's a good deal. The preset wattage thing is a bit strange, but it works out fine for me. Not quite as smooth a vape as a Provari 2.5, but not bad.

hehehehehe, Thank you. I have done that exact same thing several times :D
I really really don't need another battery holder
I am not crazy about the pre-set settings and no magnetic door for battery replacing so I am pretty sure I am going to pass them on to someone else. I already have 4 of the 50W kboxes that I really like so I can't convince myself to downgrade to this one.
Thanks to all of y'all I think I have made up my mind

Thank you IM. I think the fact that it only goes down to 8W is another thing that would be a no go for me and specially for hubby. He vapes at 6W. I am going to leave the rest of them for someone else :D

Manufacturers with more then 150 employee have ingredient paperwork they must submit by 2/8/17, small manufacturers (less then 150 employees) must submit their paperwork by 8/8/2017. No product list need to be submitted by retailers at any time as of rules right now for Electronic cigarettes.

Here's a link to the FDA's chart. Effective and Compliance Dates Applicable to Retailers, Manufacturers, Importers, and Distributors of Newly Deemed Tobacco Products

Just checked out Hoosier and this was on the top of the site:
GOOD NEWS INDIANA CUSTOMERS!...sort of.

CONFIRMED FROM THE INDIANA ATC :)

Retailers CAN sell NON COMPLIANT e-liquid that was manufactured in the "gap period (July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2016) until September 1, 2016!

Here's an excerpt from the new Indiana ATC FAQ on E-Liquids below....

D. However, in light of the two reasonable interpretations of that statutory provision and that the ATC’s published inconsistent directives on that topic the ISEP will extend a period of educational enforcement for 60 days beginning June 30, 2016. During that time you will be allowed to sell or remove from your shelves non-compliant product that was manufactured after July 1, 2015 and before June 30, 2016."

We will be making all "gap period" liquids available to Indiana customers today All of our brands, except Hoosier House Blends will be available effective immediately. But Hoosier House Blends will be available again very soon, more on that later.

Ok I checked and it is 12-31 for manufacturers and importers. So that would be juice makers and anyone importing vape goods, which is about everyone for vendors.

Thanks brnkwest :)

From this chart by the FDA under other provisions (footnote 10) for Registration of establishments engaging in manufacturing http://www.fda.gov/downloads/TobaccoProducts/GuidanceComplianceRegulatoryInformation/UCM501016.pdf they say for Importers with footnote 10 " Only to the extent that the importer repackages or changes the container, wrapper, or labeling of any tobacco product packages. " Same as what you've posted above. :)

So no, vendors will not have to send product list to the FDA by 12/31/16 smply becuase they are importers. This means that unless a retailer who is importing is doing one or more of the listed things that changes them from importers to manufacturers, they don't have submit a list to the FDA on by 12/31/16 by simply importing.

Well we are down to 1 week and counting. What do you think will happen on 8-8? Frankly I am not sure if it will be big or small effects. I sure feel for vendors tho.

On 8/8 we see what the FDA plans to police. What we do not have vision in to is what all 50 states will respond with. Over the next 6 months I suspect many of the states will pass laws regulating or taxing vaping as they do cigarettes.

The 50 states DO NOT have to wait 3yrs to implement the entire FDA Deeming Reg plan. They could do it in around 6 months. It is already written. All that they have to do is vote on it.

"all tobacco products (except for accessories of newly deemed tobacco products)"???
"newly regulated finished tobacco products at this time"???

What is that code for?

With the FDA's code-speak, calling cotton, wire, and PG tobacco products, it's hard to tell what anything they say really means.

I ordered and received 50 of these (1.8 ohm) a while back and liked them so much I ordered 300 more. Before I received that order I ordered a few more things, forgot that I'd ordered them and ordered 300 more. Dang CRS.
900! That sounds like a lifetime supply, and then some.
