Cool! I also remember years back everyone was making these :) Altoid box mod - thanks j0ker for the idea!
Modding was very big back when, when we didn't have much to vape with in the ole' days :) I remember drippers were those little atties we got in a 3 part cig alike, people would just drip on them, pull out the stuffing in the cartridge and vape :) All you really need is heat source, something to drip your juice on and something to inhale off of. I have even stocked up on passthru's, handy to just plug in and vape.

Kinda like the past will become our future
I just hope no one gets hurt trying to resurrect the dead.

There is always a way, and there will always be a way.
    Here is just one.

The only vape related product used is the 510 connector. So use a coax cable connector or a speaker jack instead.

It cost me all of $2.20 to make this. That little guy is 5 years old & still works fine.

They can't shut down the world just to stop vaping.
Well that is cute as can be. I do not have a dremel or soldering iron and know nothing about soldering for electronics. I have considered getting such tools though and actually was researching for a good budget dremel-type tool the other night and came up with something. For $2.20 per mod, it's more than worth considering. :)

If anyone makes a mech, get stocked up on some kicks and short stops, worth having around for extra protection :)

I've picked up a few Nemeses, with the idea of having them when whatever regulated mods I have give up the ghost- as a sort of last resort. Perhaps I shouldn't be looking at mech mods in such a pessimistic way. Plenty of people have been using them for years and seem quite satisfied with them.

I will be picking up some shortstop fuses for sure. I just got in a couple of Nemeses from Quality-Vapor yesterday. They included a kick in the coolest looking little metal case. It's a shame Q-V are closing out. But now I have a kick I can try out.

Ok found what my first ecig looked like, 3 part cig a like, see the atty was a type of braided wire, the cartridge was just filled with stuffing and e juice. They lasted for about 5 puffs LOL! But you could drip juice right on the atty and cut the end off the cartridge and use as drip tip basically.

That is good. Hoosierecigs has Kicks on sale, I picked up 6 :) I also got 3 short stops that are the reusable kind, they don't break if you get a short. I think they are Halycon??

Honestly I could make up something using a mini soldering iron as a heat source to do what these early ecigs did! LOL

Here's one, 5 V 8 W, not for sub olms LOL Joking! Need some mesh wire, a washer to catch drips, a heat protector sleeve and some type of drip tip :) Have not tried it, but there are so many ways to get something to be vape-able. You need heat, you need something to drip juice on and some type of drip tip to get the vape to your mouth. Mini Portable USB 5V 8W Electric Powered Soldering Iron Pen/Tip Touch Switch PM It would be crude but doable :)

Ok maybe an ego cone over the bottom with a silicone sleeve over that to protect from heat, geez I maybe on to something LOL

I am glad I started vaping in the old days, nothing really good was around but we made do with pretty sorry products. All the high tech stuff came later but at least I know it can be done with minimal equipment.
Can always hook up a hose to a fog machine if all else fails!
