So i mean I've had shortness of breath before and it seemed to happen after i went from 50/50 to 65pg to 35vg with 1.2mg and 1.8mg so i assumed i had a pg allergy so i switched to 80vg to 20pg with 1.2 and i didnt have problems for about 4 months and now i seem to be having problems again could it be the nicotine? i am quite confused

So what has changed during the 4 months?

1) Are you vaping more ml per day now than 4 months ago?
2) Have you upgraded from ego batteries to an istick? or a Sigelei 100watt? or a GODmod? or the 250watt Variant!?
3) Do you vape at more than twice the power that you used to 4 months ago?
4) Are you vaping a different liquid from 4 months ago?

Oh ya my bad ya 12mg and ya i might be overdosing on nicotine being i chain vape quite often so i guess ill slow down untill i run out and by a lower nicotine ejuice

Too much vg does tend to leave a heavy chest, and that can be scary; I mean I know the feeling that comes from vaping 100%vg .

If you're vaping 12mg at 30watts that sounds like a lot.

I think I would also keep an eye on the flavor you are vaping when you have problems. A while back my daughter tried a new (to her) flavor from a vendor that we had been using since we started vaping, same pg/vg ratio and same nicotine strength that she had been using all along. She started having a problem only when she was vaping that particular flavor. All other flavors caused no problem. Fast forward to this month, she started having problems with a new flavor from another vendor, whom we have been using for over a year. Again, same pg/vg ratio and nicotine strength that she has been using. No problems when she vapes other flavors, either from that vendor or the others that we have tried. I think there is something in the flavorings used for the two flavors she has problems with that does not agree with her.

Just something to keep in mind when trying to narrow down the cause of the problem.

I vape more than 1ml a day but ive always done that, im still using an ego battery but plan to get a sigelei 100watt soon, no ive just had an ego battery so jo change in voltage, an ya but this liquid didnt affect me till last night and im almost through the 30ml

1ml a day at 12mg; that's nothing; so it's not nicotine overdose; perhaps its the particular batch of eliquid

There are various things that get added in to eliquids; sucralose, ethyl malthol, PEG400;

then flavorings themselves will come with certain chemicals; some flavorings are oil based and others are water based;

certain flavours probably have certain trends in problems and if people mentioned the details they might get discovered just as for example cinamon and citrus are known tank crackers.

I have a kanger aerotank giant and i usually go through that tank maybe 2 to 3 times a day is what i meant by i vape over 1ml a day

aerotank giant? that's like 5 ml, and 3 times a day adds up to 15ml a day, so that's kind of misleading to mention 1ml a day when you vape over 10ml a day.

15ml x 12mg = 180mg total; that's a heavy vaper.

Reading it over again, I think you should go back to 50/50.

Vaping too much vg can lead to heavy chest.

He more than likely refills like the rest of us at around half empty and I think it is 4.5ml total capacity so he probably is doing around 5 to 7ml. Which is certainly more than I vape a day :) but the larger tanks sure go through the juice faster.

You may want to consider going to your doctor and ask him/her to prescribe x-rays of your lungs to make sure there isn't something else. Once you know it's not a health issue you can then start trying to figure out if it's the ejuice.

The doctor may also do an EKG to rule out heart problems.

Also, consider what is going on in your life that may be causing you stress.

Good luck and hope it's just the ejuice.
