I did the same thing - bought a BLU - was SO disappointed...
Watched all the Youtube videos, thought I might be using it wrong -
two good puffs - AH -delightful, then blah...

Back in the days when Leaford was the king of reviewers, he signed a deal with Vapor4Life...
I followed him there, 'cause I simply couldn't get the hang of all the numeric terminology - 80 ? 510 ? 408 ?

Just give me something that works for now and I'll learn as I go I figured!

So I dropped $70 or $80 bucks and bought the VaporKing ultimate starter kit -
they were cool, they sent me like 20 free carts with it...

Everything I needed right out of the box... No fiddling around,
nothing complicated... Expensive, but still half what I was paying monthly for smokes...

Since then, with that kit as my standby - I've slowly been evolving into a connoisseur...
IMO - their service, speed, and quality is really great...

I've found better stuff, but nothing simpler, easier, or more all in one :)

Got my RN4081 from esmokeclub today, only 3 days from Michigan to Socal...not bad. Tried it out before charging and already like the better performance, the damn thing made me cough it was such a strong TH :D I'll go through the 5 carts while I'm researching and see how they do but so far its looking good. I bought a pack of cigs before I checked the mail maybe I'll take em back for store credit lol.

Have you tried V2's? I started with V2 and Greensmoke. V2 had a nice throat hit (TH) and taste (Congress - I'm a former Parliament). Greensmoke had a lot of vapor but the cartridge TH didn't last 1/2 as long as V2's TH. V2 started at $60 / 70, Greensmoke around $100.

With that said, I heard Greensmoke has improved their cartridges. What that one post said about blu spending their $ on promo rather than product I've heard several times. In any case, good luck.

You'll like Blu long enough to look for something else. Most people buy a second ecig within the first 30 days. Some within the first week. One guy within the first day haha. I bought 2 additional models within the first 30 days.

You got THAT right! I ordered my 510 kit (and am thoroughly enjoying it now!) right after I ordered my first cheapie ecig kit; and that's currently STILL on it's way from China! (Must be walking here, LOL)

OP: (Off topic) Are you by any chance, THE Adam West? (That would be SO cool!)

I started with a BLU and credit it for being slick and getting me into vaping. It is a good product if you don't mind the battery life or if you vape like you smoked (few puffs, put it away...repeat). Their PCC is very handy and has a long charge.

Then I transitioned to the Joye 510. The good thing about it was that the BLU batt can be used with the Joye atomizer (forget the flashing, it's just the cut off signal) and give a much better performance. The 510 had a better battery life, but still on the short side, even with XL batts (although, I still use them), and the constant juice refills were getting old.

So I moved on to the eGo-T (900 mAh). Great performance, long battery life, still can use the joye 510 attys, no need for frequent refills with the tank. BUT, the look is different...I don't think that you could have convinced me to try it when I initially started vaping.

I gave my BLU set to someone who was intrigued by ecigs but not sure he wanted to make the initial investment. He is looking into an upgrade. Loks like this BLU may have introduced two people to vaping :).

Overall, I have no regrets

If it's any consolation, I wasted money on 2 kits before settling on a combo of the 3rd & 4th kits. I'm hanging on to one of the first 2 kits as a triple redundancy backup...just in case the vaping gremlins break through my first 2 lines of defense. :)

OT, btw, Nicolas Cage did a great Adam West in the movie Kick-A**, holy age flash, batman!

hah no not the adam west, thanks for the recommendations. I'll put together another kit in the next week or so if I find any faults with the 4081, haven't had a cig since 10am its doing its job thus far. I did start getting a dry taste off the first cart tho last time I used it, so cart quantity is going to be an influence on what I do next. I'm on the fence about tanks as I've read good and bad about them but I still have a lot of reading and testing to do. I agree about the blu at least it got me started, my friend that introduced me to ecigs needs some batteries so I'm sending it his way.
