Man, I'm jealous - that Castlefest looks so cool. If ever get a chance to go to Europe I'll have to time it so I can go to that.

Yeah, it is something I've been interested in for a long time. I'll definitely pick up an album soon. I love music that blends old and new elements like that. Do you know of many other bands doing this sort of thing? (Hopefully I'm not derailing the thread too much).

You should definitely try to make it at least once, it is an amazing experience. If you can get the airfare early enough it usually costs me under 1k then it's only around $75 for the festival and camping and then food and drinks.

There are a bunch of old school metal bands that have put out great folk albums, Månegarm's Urminnes Hävd (The Forest Sessions) is pretty great.

As well as Dornenreich's In Luft geritzt

Every year me, my gf, my brother and his wife go to a different major league ball park to watch a game and spend a week in the city. I may just start getting team logos for whichever city I'm in that year lol

Both the All-Seeing Eye and Bukowski quote done by Juan @ Needlepushers in Van Nuys, CA.

I should have either spaced them out more or put them closer together. Oh well, just gonna have to fill it in!

I also have another quote across my shoulder blades, "Life Without Knowledge is Death in Disguise." Brownie points for anyone who can identify what song, by what artist, I pulled it from.

Man, I'm so glad I bumped Sneaky's thread. Great work, guys! nevrdowhatheydo (great name, btw!), I was with a friend when he got a tattoo at Needlepushers. Small world. Man, I would've loved those brownie point for knowing the song on my own, but this is what google pulled up...

I also got this - Asheru - Mood Swing (Ft. Talib Kweli) - YouTube

Great line, either way. And both did have my head nodding. Even though it sometimes gets easy to slip into the whole "ignorance is bliss" mentality, we've gotta fight that off.

Keep 'em coming, with any inspiration behind them (including from former posters), all!

This is my one and only tattoo. I got it ten years ago. The guy who tattooed me has an online photo album of his work, so I just conveniently snagged it from there. I know the whole sun/moon thing is everywhere, but I still love it, drew it myself (poorly but enough for him to create this design with), and the colors are still just as bright as when this picture was taken.
