Good morning everyone, just ran across this thread and thought I would jump in and show my baby I got this about 2 years ago and am totally ready for a new one.

Oooh, very lovely, Peekebe! I have to shave my neck before I get someone to snap my waterlily. I also need to cut my hair to let it show again. I'll admit (though I probably shouldn't) that I mainly grew it out to please my ex. Get that other one! I have too many ideas for the one that I'm going to get at some point during this month. As I've said, I totally blame Sneaky for the hurt it's going to put on my budget, but I've made the determination. And don't worry, Sneaky, just keep bumping this thread whenever it starts to sink down the line. Folks just aren't seeing it. We'll get plenty more ink in here, no doubt!

The leaf and the icon, or just the icon? Mind if I ask its significance? If you do, that's a-ok. As I've said earlier in the thread, I've been burned by asking that question many times. But I always love to hear some of the story behind tattoos. For any who've posted here so far, and any who do in the future, even though I didn't translate my own Old English tattoo earlier, I did blather a bit about the particular bar of music that I saw fit to post. Our OP, Sneaky, did say she'd love to hear some of your ink's stories, and I certainly echo that.

Just the symbol, the image itself is from an album that is pretty much the closest thing I have come to a religious experience, Yggdrasil (the world tree).

It's Runaljod - Yggdrasil by Wardruna. Not a pagan or religious but this music does something to me I cannot describe in words
