Ohhh im so glad i found the lounge!!! another great thread here!! love everyones inks!!

Ok heres a little back story for my motif. When i was 12yrs old and leaving my dads funeral, a little old japanese man who i had no clue who he was, stopped me and told me he was sorry for my loss. He then proceeded to tell me to never lose heart cuz he felt the spirit of a tiger in me and walked away. Weird, i know but it always stuck and they are my "thing" since that moment on. Always will be.

With that being said, here ya go.

First one at 16yrs old in my buddies garage.

Got this one from a friend in trade for some computer parts a couple of decades ago. He was killed before he did the color so i left it for him.

I was bored one holiday in SanDiego so i went and got this done for grins and giggles. Was supposed to be tiger stripes but eh. what do you expect for 20bux lolol.

My girlfriend and i got these double infinity knots with our initials done a couple years ago. Hers is on the back of her neck. It was her first and now she wants more. I warned her of the addiction, lol.

This one is next. ive had this hanging on my desk for 5 yrs now. Finally found a guy that knows what to do with it. He wants to color it and put it on a big canvas so its gonna be on my ribcage or my back. Havent decided yet but it will be sooooon!!!

If you've got the scratch, no doubt - both! I was supposed to get my blue guitar last month, but some unexpected expenses came up. I'm saving up and getting very close again to being able to swing it, though (price is around four times what it was back when I got the first one at 17, no exaggeration:ohmy:). Can't wait:closedeyes:.

James, I absolutely LOVE that bee and your new piece looks like it's gonna be awesome! Hydreangea are my favorite! Nice work!

Thanks Robin. I go to Tattooville on Fischer in Toms River. I had Dave do my first bee as a 'walk in' while there with my wife (Paul Davis does her stuff). He split for GA after loosing his home to Sandy. James Kastel did my recent work (my favorite artist @ the shop), I should have waited for him to do the first one... but he is booked a solid 2 months in advance (so is Paul Davis... also does great work). Dave was just sitting there waiting on walk ins so I threw him the business that day.

OH WOW. I didn't even notice you were in NJ yet alone local to me when I commented!! Wow that is awesome info, thank you! I have been thinking about getting more ink (it's been several years) and my artist moved to Arizona, so I will need a new one. I really dig his/your style! Looking forward to seeing your color!

I'm gonna go crazy waiting for the next session... I'll definately post a follow up here. James had originally said the end of Oct, but when he pulled up his calendar there was one slot on the 10th open so I grabbed it! He usually works Mon-Thur noon to 8pm.

Here is James's facebook. He doesn't post to it too often, but he does check it pretty regular

think I was like 46 when I finally decided to do it.... I'd always kinda wanted one, I could just never find anything that meant enough to me to ink it on.

I was the same way... I was 44 for my first and it was 2 years after my wife got some major leg work done (bunch of great white sharks and sunken ship)

THANK YOU! I gotta wait a while .. not even sure exactly what I want yet, but I think not having an artist is what was really making me not think about it. Started getting the itch
