Thanks for the response , there has got to be warranty info in the package no? This is important to me as my SX 330 chip went south after a few weeks .
This brings up a valid issue. My ipvv2 crapped out after maybe a month. Started jumping ohms like crazy. I'd have a .5 build on it and if I let it sit, then took a puff, it would jump to 3 ohms or like 2.5 out of nowhere. At 35 watts or 50 it would give a dry hit to end all dry hits. I still haven't gotten it to work right. I bring it up because this happened once on the sigelei but after a thorough cleaning of the contacts, it hasn't happened since. Anyone know why the ipv v2 was doing this and if there is anything I should be worried about on the sigelei?

vapenw is the ones who sold me a demo unit that broke in 10 mins...but then they gave me a full refund after I sent it back...I was still quite suprised that I was sold a demo unit tho, I thought it was a final product with all the kinks worked out. I spent a hundred bucks for a demo unit that broke in 10 mins...if they didnt take it back and give a refund I would be on hella rampage. I think someone else on here got one too i think they got #217 I got number 80. How can sites sell demo units for a profit and not tell consumers that they are demo units? Crazy!

Um yeah. I have 217. You're saying mine is a demo? I have the warranty card and everything that it comes with though. It works Friggin flawlessly since the 22nd at least. I use it every day as my main vape device. Should I be worried?

if yours has a serial number on the bottom and a pic illustration on the battery compartment for placement, you have a V2 Sig, the Demo's do not have this from what i've seen in the video's.........i would only be concerned if it were a Demo unit.

Yup...mine is a demo. And the reason for the new bottom contacts wouldn't be that they are better or would sustain more use. Its that the contacts on the v1 chew up your battery sleeves. Take a close look at the above video. You can see the edges are sharp. I took an emery board to mine and they are fine now but they were sharp before and cut up some of my vtc5s but even so still way worth it.

soo is this the sigelei thread or the other one, or the other other one... more pages here I'll switch over to here for now.

24 hours in, very pleased. So far just stuck with the atty's I had set up but I'm hoping to get some time to experiment tomorrow. Keep in mind I've been only mech mods for awhile. What I had ready to roll and tested out was .4 ohm dual coil 28awg hobo build, .8 ohm ohm single coil 28awg on an elkonigin and a 1.2 ohm single coil but twisted 30 awg build on an erlkonigin.

What I'm thinking, and there's been some posts on this, is trying out something with a lot more wire in there. With my current set ups I'm really not going very high, low 30s on the .8 erlK is doable but upper 20s feels like where it's at with that as is. The hobo mid 30s feels very comfortable can go into the 40s. So I'm thinking, scratch thinking about 100w and take advantage of these extra volts I have. What do you all recommend? Thinking about rebuilding the hobo (have a viking rda available too) and getting a lot more wire in there. Any recommendations? I'm not a master builder by any means but have been very functional. Wondering what twisted 32, maybe dual parallel...or twisted 30...maybe a lot of wraps??? I've not done the parallel before but think I could get that done.

Suggestions?

It seems to like a .4 build a lot. I run a .9 on my orchid and the batteries last at least 2 days with that setup at 42 watts. But I feel like I was getting a a little better at .4 ohm builds at 45 watts in terms of battery life but I don't know. It lasts so damn long its hard to tell to be honest.

you don't have a meter?.....yep if i had to guess yours is prob between .38 to .42 with 9 wraps dual of 24 ga on a 1/8th bit?...and that's Kanthal ?

i have some Nichrome 80 26ga but i think it would be too hot, so i'm going Kanthal on my builds to start with.

ok i gottcha!

got a 454 big block cln coming tues, first i'm gonna build on my Tobh with one of those new drip tops, might turn the body upside down and do a R. Coaster build...this way i can have a huge jooze well.....gonna play w/it.

Yes I have a meter. I posted the spec on it. Comes out to .37. Yes, kanthal, 5/64 inner diameter. 10/9 wrap. When I go past 80 watts tho I throw on a chuck tip to keep the temp down and airflow up.

yea i finally seen it , i'm just a bit slow sometimes; gettin old i guess :vapor:

I had to throw my CLT on at 55 watts with this setup on there now and yeah, I really like that. A LOT. Just a killer nice easy warm vape. Just drop your nic level. I think I spent the whole first day nic sick after I got this lol!

i love my CLT, have mine on my Work-Horse rite now....it's a fine Atty indeed.

i'm using 5mg nic in my other drippers, i'll see.....watched twisted's vid he was gettin choked out at 80 watts, man this is insane but i like it; can't wait prob sit up all-nite drinkin coffee :D
