I'm currently happily vaping away on a sigelei VMAX V3 @ 4.0V in VV mode. Yes the 18350's only last a couple of hours tops and nobody is going to accuse me of "chucking clouds" with the Aspire K1 that I have mounted. The entire setup (including battery) cost me < $20USD new.

Funny that the setup is able to provide a more consistent vape.

Despite the issues posted, I pulled the plug on a gold 213. Haven't had any issues yet, love the form factor, size and battery life and feels like a quality product.

I guess I bought it knowing what to expect, and got it for a good price. Will see how I get used to the TCR settings.

Looks nice[emoji106] Let us know if you have any issues and/or if you reckon Sigelei has fixed something.

That looks really nice! When I got my 213, the pictures of the gold edition looked a bit odd, especially with gold up/down buttons, so went with the only vendor that had black in stock. I may just have to consider a second one in the gold, but will wait and see how the Fuchai turns out. Thanks for the pics!

Very nice. I definitely wouldn't mind having that rda too, but I've been eyeing the Tsunami 24 lately. Just got my Griffin 25 in the mail a few days ago and love it.

I've order a few weeks ago the 213 as pre-order in a great price. Then, by reading all those forums I get to know about all those issues with confusing TCR, miss-firing, screen glitches etc... Damn... I was so upset... Why the heck I couldn't just wait to read real reviews? But it was too late to cancel my order. Well, I got this 213 a few days ago. Looks and feel GREAT... And guess what... TCR works as should (of course after using the new calculation form that Sigelei provide)... And TFR...Oh man... Works even better!!! And the preheat option is marvelous!!! No screen glitches, not gaps, excellent quality... The only con according to my so far experience using it, is that there is no information in the screen about the resistance lock. You can never be sure if you have locked the resistance or not till you press + and - together. So after all, I consider myself a lucky owner and very happy with my new mod!!! Cheers!!!!!

There aren't any official notes what has changed between the firmware versions, right? 1.7 works fine for me apart from the misfire when hitting the button exactly after 13 seconds (hard to reproduce voluntarily), screen glitch but only when hitting up and fire button exactly at the same time out of standby (took me a while to get the screen glitch so I can see it myself). TCR is obviously off but works with the calculator somehow. Tried TFR once with 316 and can not complain at all. But I am no TC expert.

what is the latest one? saw 1.8 somewhere (but with the same glitches)

    Hi everybody,

i have the oppertunity to buy a 213 knowing which firmware it has. So my question to all of you who didn't experience any problems is: Which firmware does your device run? Earlier in this thread someone wrote 1.5 seems ok.
My potential device would have V1.7.

Greets and thx for any statements.
How do I know which firmware I'm running?

does anyone know which YIHI chip is in the Sigelei 213? I know the IPV6X has the YIHI SX330-200 chip? I can not find anywhere on the internet or YIHi or Sigelei which chip is in it. Personally I would wait for the IPV6X b/c you know you will be able to do bug fixes and upgrades + it will probably price out the gate a good $20+ less then the 213w and then over 3-6 weeks drop another $20-$40 as all these Mods continue to roll out newer versions and different types hence causing the price to drop by 40%-60%...

Its not a yihi chip. Its a chip designed by "suprimo" at least advertised as such.

Also, I don't think theres a way to check the firmware. And as far as I know they didn't address any of the issues with the Sig213, instead they made a new mod called Fuchai 213.

Yeah I couldn't find a way to check the version. The only thing I have ever found where the chip is mentioned at all is a video interview with the designer, but he doesn't say much about what it is. They start talking about the 213 at about 2:13 into the video. Coincidence? Hmmm. You can watch it here:
