So confirmed no firmware updates( probably should have guessed since when you plug the mod into a computer it wont recognize it at all like wismec's and stuff).. they need to let us send the mod in to be replaced with fully working ones... you know, since they can make them at almost half the cost this shouldn't be a problem.

Ok here is the rub. Yes their are problems. Yes we brought them to Sigelei's attention. They came up with a workaround so you can use the functions with in reason. Basically they sold so many of these units that have these problems that they cant replace all of them. If you want to use TCR with 316 you need to use 0.0005. So you can not differentiate lower fraction of lower value wires, like 316 from 316L. You will need to up the temperature by like 50-75 degrees or so. You need to convert their mistake in the final firmware version to make it work correctly. If you do not know about the need to use this conversion you could burn your self. The screen glitch portion they MAY be able to fix but to me that is minor but still not right. They may be able to fix the misfire. They are not sure what they are going to do. It seems like they are in damage control mode. They said they would update if anything changes. As of right now you are stuck with the mod. Not holding my breath. Warranty service also has no idea what to do right now. Just a quick recap: If you have a Pre-release version of this, it all works just fine! Tested on the warranty claims center PRE-release version. The release version has all these problems. Screen glitch, Misfire, TCR values wrong. Good news is that the new 213 is supposed to work as this one should have. I'm going to put my video back up with the work around so people can use it safely. I will report back if there is any good news but I doubt it. That's enough Sigelei crap for me. Good luck Vapers. Vape safe!

They didn't test tcr on even a single release 213. Good to know. They are still on sale everywhere flying off the shelves.. but they're sorry because they sold to many to fast to do anything for people who are not happy with the way it functions. That's all pretty crazy. How about the option to buy one of the new one's at cost then.. there's gotta be something they can do.

Is there conversion tool/calculator posted yet?

Yeah, lots of "fud". Unless all those reviewers got pre-production units I hope folks rethink how "in depth" all those reviews are actually going.

Gee, there is so much NOTHING wrong with this product, Sigelei is pulling it and releasing an updated (and renamed) version of it that might actually work for 1/2 the cost!

Humm... how to get my hands on a BETA unit?

Hey George I just checked something on my VTC and I don't know if it makes a difference here but I tried using TCR settings. Ti TCR is .003660 the VTC only goes to 4 places so that would make it 0036 right, wrong it's 0366. For some reason they dropped 1 place off each end. Make sense. 0036 wouldn't even vape.

The preset temp control settings are ok to use correct?
Those a are working for some not for others. Its a shot in the dark.

Yes they dropped a digit on their mods. .092 is for SS316L etc... I show the Cuboid in my video with that setting.

If they did the same then SS316 would be .000880 so it would be 0088. I don't have any SS to try it on the VTC but I'm sure that is where it would be. Makes no sense to me because I know that on my YiHi Ti is 00366 like it should be.

Sigelei made a special work around at their website. The TECH I spoke to through an interpreter told me to set it at 0.0005 for stainless. If you are trying to figure out what to enter on the 213 go to their work around calculator at their website. They did not do the same thing that Joyetech did. They screwed up the algorithm they used in the final version. Problem is now they are at the end of their decimal space. So if your wire needs say (we will use their example) 0.0005 and you need 0.00055 you cant do it. (This is just an example.) You will have to go to the next whole number. I cant even find their "calculator" at their site, but as soon as you go to the main site a message about these problems pop up! It seems even if you do a straight conversion from F to C it doesn't come out to what the tech said. If you do move the place to the right like you said above you should get a ripping hot vape.
