Looking to upgrade from my little eGo Twist-style into my first box mod. Thinking either this or the istick 30W, any thoughts on comparisons? What don't you like about the sigelei? One thing that turned me off was I've read that it can't be vaped while charging, but I guess with the removable battery I could just get two of them and swap out a fresh one when the other needs charged.

I got 166 grams or 5 3/4 oz on my kitchen food scale. Not sure how accurate it is. Website says 180g.
Can'g go wrong with either, or the iStick 50 for that matter...the Sigelei is blockier and more industrial feeling, the iStick sleeker and smaller, all have good build quality...the iStick 50 sits in the middle size wise. Depends on what you want, the Sigelei is a little more advanced with the removable battery, and the unregulated mode of operation...and the manual does state, no charging and vaping at the same time. Just get them all!!
I vape my sigelei 30w while charging, no problem, and without the hot USB connection some get. Takes around 3+ hrs to chrage, least for me. Only thing I don't like ATM is I can't feel the fire button click sometimes, especially when I have gloves on. All's well besides that. Never used an istick though..either way you'll be happy with the upgrade.

Just got my Sigelei Mini 30 today, and I wasn't expecting vape mail until tomorrow at least. My Kayfun 4 came early as well. I put them together and already put my MVP 2's aside. Love the Sigelei so far. Boxy but comfortable grip. Thinking this is my new ADV device.
Eh, well it is in the manual, your right, guess I won't be vaping it while charging again.. But my charger should be here tomorrow, so no worries.

After a week, I am loving the sig 30W mini. It is solid . It is perfect for a 30w device paired with a lemo drop or kayfun V4. I have small hands and it fits perfectly because it is narrow. It feels and looks well built and I have no issues with 510.
Liked the black one I got so much I bought a second, this time silver. The fire button rattles on my black one, but this new one, no rattle. Go figure.
Someone save me from myself! Was finally feeling like I had all the gear I need when I get an in-stock notification from 101vape saying they have the Sigelei Mini in red back in stock for $37. Tried to talk myself out of it but with my new Silverplay RTA on the way and slated for my Sigelei 100, I justified the purchase because I need the red one to run the Lemo Drop that's been on my Sig 100.

Also, am I understanding that in DC-DC its in mech format and not regulated? The ipv mini stayed regulated.

Its regulated in DC-DC. Or at least the buttons appear to be changing wattage. I did notice it runs about .2 volts higher than PWM mode..

PWM allows drop to low wattages on certain resistance coils that DC-DC cannot reach.(Buck) Both will Boost.
IPV Mini auto switches in PWM Mode to DC-DC when balance(Battery voltage) is reached. Sigelei should also.

Good to know. I've switched it to PWM but I guess I'm using DC-DC since I'm at 4.2v.. What's weird, out of the box it was set to DC yet the voltage was higher than it should've been according to my math.. Hmm maybe I'm just losing it already haha..
