Hmm it appears Sig has made a couple changes since the first run of Minis? There's no sigelei logo on the battery door, and the serial number is now IN the battery bay at the bottom of the slot. The top above the magnets for the battery door now says "Please install battery as instructed". It appears to be a sticker and there's one over the lower magnets with a - mark on marking which way to insert the battery. Anyone else's come like this?

I guess so? I'm leaving my Derringer on my first one since I think that's what 'ruined' it. This one is strictly for the Kayfuns, but after a few days just dripping, the Kayfuns aren't cutting it anymore he he.. What sucks is it comes with the same black silicon sleeve so getting silver didn't really matter they both look the same haha.

Now that I'm using it, it IS actually a lot easier to thread than my first one. There's no interference or wobbling from the 510 pin, the Kayfuns just screw right down easy. Buttons on this one rattle when the silicon cover is off, and on that note, the cover fits better on this one. The buttons all line up perfectly and its a lot more snug on the mod. Maybe that first run was just a little funky, but that's what you get for playing "early adopter" sometimes!

Granted, the past few days of just using my Derringer has ruined my Kayfun 4s. They just don't cut it now he he.

Definitely! (Remember when I told ya I was never gonna drip, you were right hah) if the Derringer was the culprit I'm not putting it on any of my other mods just in case! I think it just likes being on the black Mini too much. ;) Looks nice with the black delrin tip I just got from Avid Vaper too!

I am waiting on my 30w Sig to get here from MVS. I kept going back and forth between getting the Sig or the IPV Mini, but finally decided on the Sig. I realized afterward that the 510 will probably get to be a problem like my istick 20w, so then ordered an air flow controller to use on it. Looking forward to trying it out. :)

I used the air flow controllers as well, to protect the threads. Now I use 510 heat sinks from Fasttech. They are one piece and have adjustable pins on top and bottom. They look nice on the mod as well. Just do a search for 510 heat sinks on the Fasttech site and they will come up. I think you will like them.

My Sig30w just got here, and I'm getting the batteries I ordered with it charged.
As you can see, mine came with a frosted sleeve which looks kinda cool, but it is a pita to get off, it does slide back on easily tho. It has a nice weight to it, and feels good in the hand with the sleeve on. So, as soon as the batteries are charged, I'll be taking it for a spin. :)

You could try rubbing a pinch of corn starch inside the silicone sleeve then wipe out as much as you can then it will slide on and off easily. A tiny bit goes a long way.
