I ended up with a 4 bay Nitecore Digicharger from here

Li-Ion Chargers

Not the cheapest but close. Follow them on facebook as they sometimes have one day sales. We pay AZ sales tax but shipping is low and fast.

Don't get cheap batteries or charger. Your house and life are worth a little more. I like AW and yzer uses Efest. I rotate 2 18490s daily and have some 18350s and an 18650 for weekends.

Hahahaha...how did you know I was coming here to ask about the batter charger and batteries....so spooky....really!

Button tops or flat...or will the V5 use either with not problem!

Thanks a bunch!!

Don't forget that Black Friday sales are coming up. Sometimes retailers can beat FT prices on authentics.

Yeah...but I would have to eat up all the savings with the gasoline investment...if I can even find a shop that carries the V5...
My most likely find would be in Phoenix.....about a $30 drive....but I'll have a looksee this coming week...if I can wait that is!!

Thanks for your input!!

You can use either button or flat top batteries in V3 or V5. Efest flat tops are often priced lower than the button tops so I buy flat tops. I've great luck with my Nitecore Intellicharger i-4.

Good deal....I'm looking at the AW batts right now that cause that's what popped up first.

I hear a lot of good things about the Nitecores so that is most likely what I will be going with!!

Thanks again for all your input!!

Has anyone purchased recently or know of a good source for those purple Efest 18650 3100mAh batteries? Two of the four 18650's I'm currently using are coming to the end of their lifespan, so I'm looking to replace them soon. Thanks ahead of time for any input!

Never used these folks but they are the go to folks for a lot of ECF users....

You might check here too Batteries, Chargers, and PowerPax Carriers
I know their prices on the Samsung and LG are excellent.

Thanks for the replies! The above link had them 2 bucks cheaper than everywhere else I saw them, so I went with those. With just under 3 bucks for USPS shipping, 2 of the Efest purple 3100 mAh batteries came to a total of just under $21. Thanks again for sharing those links!

I think this is the new case for the SVD with the battery checker built in

Innokin Travel Case

Blowing my mind again....I thought I had looked at every one of the 20 or so sites and just could not find a suitable one...but I stumbled upon the Desert Vapes site....found a page full....got one pegged that will work.

Do not know how I missed this site but I did and just came back here to say that I had found one at Desert Vapes.

You done good Paul and I thank you for you response!!

Thanks for all the help here ladies and gentlemen!!

Since you guys bought all the V5s from Movapes, I'm about to jump on the $25 V3, but they have the TMax V5 which is a V5 in a box?? I don't see a whole lot on the TMax so any pros/con's of the TMax V5 over the ZMax V3???

Tmax doesn't have the stainless 510/ego. It's made of alluminum and plated brass.
V3 is full solid stainless steel.
Tmax Only able to take a single battery limiting its maximum power at all ohm ranges.
V3 can be stacked to put out 24+w at 1.3 ohms. With double the battery life.

Ahh so that explains the reviews of the shoddy connector haha.. Yeah TMax is out. Got ahold of one of the guys here that bought one in March and its not doing so well already..

But then in the MVP owners thread, I was told from a couple Zmax owners that my MVP blows it away, and its probably no better than my Smoktech SiD I want to replace??? Hopefully the sale goes for a few more days so I can decide. I may just spend $60 and get the Sig 50w box if that's gonna be the only real "upgrade" to what I have..
