yes Swamp, the 18650s will last much longer than a single 18350( you can stack 18350s as per sigelei instructions, that's my preferred method, but that's for another discussion and must be done with caution ) id try a single 18350 to start for now if your needing a shorter mod

@Foggy Road
If I may ask, Is there a lot of noticeable difference in vape time with the 18350's? (under regular vaping and understanding this is situational)

I really can't answer to that. I'm a committed (or should be) evODDer. The Z's are my vapocolypse backup. When I did use them for a short time I had them setup to match my Evods. My 700 mah 18350s were an even match with my 650 mah vv Evods at the same voltage,3.4,3.5. I believe watts waste battery power.

I'm almost certain the difference between the life of a charge would be significant from an 18350 to an 18650 tho.

Wow our thread is falling asleep again. Can't let it get closed!

Just thought I'd share the fact that I just worked out a whopper of a trade with RedRebel821. Gonna get a bucket load of new2me toppers w/parts to mount on my ZMaxes! Still sticking with my retro mindset tho mostly ProTank 2s. Here's a small sampling of what she will send me in trade for my barely used Cloupor mini+that is just sitting in its box:

"idlove love love that trade! I have at least 6, possibly more if i hunt...plus a mini, and one that is top fill. Some are clear, some are colored glass. I'll throw in a whole baggy of coils, and at least one collar and an adapter, and will sanitize all of the drip tips, I don't use metal anymore. Some of the coils have been rebuilt, some have silica wick and some are wicked with rayon."

All that and more to keep my tinkering fingers busy. I've already been scouring the tips and tricks forum for ways to hotrod the PT2s. I know there is a gang of very talented and knowledgeable folks here. So how about it, any tips for bringing a PT2 to its max potential? My drill bits, tweezers, needle nose pliers and 3lb sledge hammer await your direction!

A box of surprises, who could ask for more :)
I'm waiting on 2 of the KM3's to try my hand at building..been thinking about tearing up one of these BVC's and see how they work. gonna try rayon for wick and prolly 30g.
Sorry but I can't figure out what a KM3 is. o_O

I've done a couple BVC's in my Kanger coils with mixed results. Did first one on a 1/16"
Drill bit and it worked well but the draw was kinda tight for my liking. Second was on a 5/64" but the draw was even tighter. Think I shoved the wick down too far. After accepting that they couldn't be rewicked without destroying the coil I decided they weren't worth the trouble.

Have since found a way to wick them before mounting in the atty. Might give them another go one day.

There is an adjustable airflow base. That is a good place to start. Also believe it or not a wide bore drip tip makes a big difference. As far as coils I seem to get the best performance with 1.4 - 1.7ohm. Here are links

$2.06 Pre-made Wires and Wicks for Atomizer (50-Pack) 50-pack - 32 AWG / 1.5ohm / 4-wick at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

$3.22 Authentic Kanthal Pre-Made Wire-and-Wick for RBA (50-Pack) 50-pack - NR-R-NR / 1.7ohm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

$7.28 Stainless Steel + Acrylic 510 Drip Tips (5-Pack) 5-pack at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

$3.55 Authentic Coil Heads for T3S Clearomizer (5-Pack) 5-pack - 1.8ohm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

$3.09 Authentic Airflow Control Valve for Protank 2 / Protank 3 / Aerotank - chromed brass at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Thanks for the suggestions @VapieDan. I've got the nr-r-nr coils in 1.5,1.8 and 2.4. Seems that RedRebel is gathering everything she can find to toss in the box. I'll wait and see if she sends an air flow control and/or drip tip. She said she's already PIFed a lot of her old low power stuff and can't find any takers for what's left.
Have to wait until I get home at the end of the month to seal the deal and we'll both ship then.

Just thought I'd post an update on my trade for the Protank toppers for my ZMaxes.
image (4).jpeg

6 Protank 2's, a mini, a unitank, a Protank 1, and 2 evods

image-jpeg.541677

Bag of mostly 2.2 coils. Some with silica wicks, some with rayon. Added a few feet of rayon which should last a LONG time.

Looks like a lifetime supply of rebuildable atties to me.

image-jpeg.541679

2 extra PT bases, an extra collar, extra evod base, a few drip tips and yes, even some cartos! If I find more stuff, I'll keep adding....

All these goodies in trade for a mod that I won and really didn't care for it. Feel like I hit the jackpot!

Now if I just sell the my Koopor plus or Luggy prizes for enuf to buy a Silenus I'll be a very happy camper.

Hey foggy, I have a "bunch" of Unitanks and Unitank minis and other older style kanger tanks( genitanks/aerotanks/ ) new in the box , let me know if you are looking for some new ones
Hmmmm.... I'll DEFINITELY keep that in mind but right now I think I'm gonna be overwhelmed with all the potential my new box o toys has to offer. I'm hoping those cartos have the silicon tube inside for an atty modification that I've been wanting to try.
My focus right now is getting that Silenus for my retro/oddity collection.

Here is something you may be interested in. Provari is blowing out the P2.5 $29.95. These are an outstanding mod.
They work great with Protanks and the such.

Thanks Dan, yeah I've been seeing that blem sale for a couple weeks now. I know it's an amazing deal but....Eh, Provari shmovari. I'm sure it's a quality piece just nowhere near the top of my list.
I know I don't make sense. I know Smok makes trash but for my $30 I'd rather have the Silenus (just cuz it's different and the hardwood finish) or a pair of Sigelei ZMax minis in that order, then maybe consider the shmovari during their next blem sale in 2020.

Everyone has their own methods and tastes. That's the problem with vaping at the present. "You must do it this way or that". Nonsense. Enjoy what you enjoy. Most think of us as crazy because we don't cloud chase.
