So juice has gotten in behind the screen and it keeps rebooting.
Ive seen the problem reported all over the place but cant seem to find a fix or tear down guide.

Ive always disliked this mod for its poor efficiency. Now this problem.
When I purchased this I was under the impression that the firmware could be upgraded but it cant.

Now they want you to buy their new chip. to get upgrade ability.
Im pretty sure the SX200 chip can be upgraded. But they would need to give us the bin file.

Just use IPA.
Ive tried both types of bats.
I feel the stock spring is way too hard.
Here is a pic of my mod. Cost 3 times more than just paying 18$ for it. But hey its a custom one off.
Cant fit a price to that.
Still needs some work. Venting holes and maybe a laser etched design. And a polish job for sure.

Just soaked mine in rubbing alcohol for a while... Definitely clean, I'll post again after I've seen if it still works when I've let it dry a couple of days

It's dry, as clean as the day I bought it and works perfectly now.

I used 90% isopropyl and submerged the head in a coffee mug making sure alcohol completely flooded the device through the bottom pin and gaps around the screen. I shook it around a few times over about 2 hours (there was lots of gunk in the alcohol afterward). I took it out, shook out the alcohol and let it sit for 3 days. It's now functioning and looking like new. Sweet!

I sorted it out.
The head is a press fit. At both ends which means you can open it at either end.,
I picked the top. Hold the top in a vice with a cloth and rock back and forth.
Everything cleaned up easy and its all new again.
Be very careful with the switch and the o ring on it.
Here is a picture of the tear down. Looking at it will make it clear.
When your done cleaning use a wooden mallet to tap the cover back on.

I want to try modding the circuit to boost power but can only do that if I have a spare circuit. I can get components off.
If anybody has a dead unit that they would be willing to sell. Or a damaged one i.e. broken screen etc. let me know.
